This nonfiction book for middle grade readers (or hi-lo readers) tells the stories of several spies who worked – and were caught – in the last twenty years. The book provides the historical background for each spy’s activities and describes what they did and how they were finally discovered. American, Egyptian, Chinese, and Russian spies are all featured. The book is easy to read, with pictures, text boxes, and unfamiliar words explained in notes at the bottom of the page.
