This was a strange but compelling Sci-fi story, and I liked the vivid detail that had gone into it. The author had some really well developed ideas, and this really was quite entertaining. The only downside was the ending, as I finished the book hoping for another page to explain what had been going on.
Well worth a read though!

This is a fantastic short story with a very Lovecraft-esque feel. It starts with Ste waking up in a strange world and being forced along a long walkway with the clever use of electrocution before being put to work for an unknown purpose by unknown beings. As he does so he begins to unravel what is going on and why before he is pulled from his labours by a rather startling and amusing source (and one we can all connect with). This is a great little story that has a greater meaning than you first realise as Ste drags himself to the story's finale and it is one that will make you smile ruefully as you prepare yourself for another day.

A great short story, reminded me of HP Lovecraft!
Sci-fi always puts me in a good mood :) And the concept is so tangible, I almost don't want to go to bed now...!

A snapshot into a twisted reality, humanity enslaved while sleeping. An interesting, if scary, short story.
