Angel At Large #1

Falling for an Angel

Rate this book
Adrian is a messenger angel. He loves nothing better than zipping through the realms, dodging the enemies who try to keep him from doing his duty. He is fast and swift and as dedicated as they come. But he’s a fun loving individual. Even though he likes being an angel, he is lonely and can’t help wondering what it would be like to have someone that belongs to him, and that he belongs to. So when his best friend, the guardian angel Cassel falls in love with his mortal and he finds out that the only hope is for him to also find love, he embraces the challenge in his usual fun loving way. How hard can it be to find a mortal who will love him? He’s good looking, smart and can show her a good time. Unfortunately, he meets and is instantly attracted to Melissa, the only mortal woman in the world who is not impressed either by his good looks, his wit or his charm. To win her heart, he will have to reach deep into himself to discover what she really wants.

I started writing romance fiction since I was 16 years old. I'm now a published writer thanks to the wonderful world of ebooks.

I live in Canada and I love the winter months. As you can see, I wrote several books related to the winter holidays.

I'm currently an accountant but my dream is to be a full-time independent writer of hot erotic romance books.

This was the second in the Hearts Aflame bundle. I liked this one more than I thought I would. I just wished for more after Mel learns Adrian is an Angel. I'd rate these five stars, if they had the extra touches that go into a full novel. I'll most likely purchase the rest of the series. I do like being able to read the complete story just before bed. Makes for nice dreams!

Melissa Hart has a great style that pulls the readers into the story and leaves them wanting more at the end while still feeling satisfied with what they've been given.

Another recommended series/author for all my book worm friends.

An angel walks into a bar with the orders from above that he has to fall in love in 2 weeks - never explained why either.
He sees a girl and BAM! Instalove alert.
He sleeps with her on the first night and declares his love on their second hook up. Then she's like 'wow really? Because I like, totally love you too'
Then he's like 'and hey baby I'm an angel too'
So she's like 'hey that's not so cool but let's just like be together forever'
And so it's happily ever after the two days since they met.
I have a thing for angels but this dude just wasn't for me.

Falling for an Angel is for people who...

...don't mind a quick-burn romance.
...like angels.
...can suspend their disbelief when the powers that be come up with the reason why Adrian needs to go to Earth.
...want romantic sexy times.

This book is too short to get anything over three stars. In fact I'm not even sure it counts as a book, more like a creative writing term paper
