I enjoyed the Luke series and so glad Cassia wrote about Luke and Brina's Valentine's Day. This takes place after Luke and Brina are parents. Luke sends Brina on a scavenger hunt to find him.

I loved Mimi's story about a widow. She goes to the salon to get a new hairstyle. She was going in their expecting a female stylist to work on her hair, not a good looking male stylist. She does think about giving love another try after meeting him.

This was the first time I got to read stories from Kandi Kane and Catou Martine. Kandi's story was a enjoyable fairytale. Girl saves enough money since she was young to go to Paris. Girl meets a good looking guy who's hotel room is across from hers. Guy is going to try to woo her.

Catou's story is of a woman who went through a recent heartbreak. She doesn't mope around. Instead, she goes to Paris. Her intentions are to look at the artwork there. She just happens to stumble into a potential Valentine.

This set has four great short stories, all with a Valentine's Day theme. I was already a fan of Cassia and Mimi's stories. I can now say I'm a fan of Kandi and Catou's!

Overall rating for the entire book for me was 4 Stars...I have included what I would have rated each individual story as well as my reviews for each short story. I started reading this at first for the Hunting Luke short from Cassia's Luke Series, but I was pleasantly surprised by the other stories in the book. Definitely worth a look see if you enjoy short stories, though if you haven't read the Luke series by Cassia Leo I would strongly suggest you read books 1-5 before reading this short story (it's not a need to but this story would make much more sense if you did).


Hunting Luke: Part 5.5 (Luke Series) by Cassia Leo

Luke and Brina's portion of this was great, I loved it especially the bodyguard having Brina do the Dorothy Gail thing.
This short Valentine's Day story set's up for number 6 in the series...Luke wants another baby, so I am gathering that will be part of whats in the next book. If not her getting pregnant or being pregnant then she will have had another child.


Green Eyed Angel In Paris by Catou Martine
3 Stars for me on this short story

This was a pretty good short story, not usually one I would read but it wasn't bad. Laine got dumped by her long term boyfriend only to find out he had moved on soon after, and is now soon to be engaged. She runs away for time away to Paris only to quite literally run into an English man, and has a steamy night together.


Red Shoe Affair by Kandi Kayne
5 Stars on this short story

I was pleasantly surprised by this short story...I LOVED it. It was sweet, and steamy a great start to what could be a great love story. I find myself wishing that the author would write a series to go along with this short story for this couple...it was that good of a start.
I will definitely be looking into more books by this author in the future.


Falling Away by Mimi Strong
2.5 Stars on this short story
This was a cute story, not something I would normally read, but good none the less. The two main characters both widowed find love together...pretty much sums up this one.

Each one involves Red Shoes & Valentine's Day.
I haven't Read Luke by Cassia Leo yet but her short story didn't effect that fact.
Kandi Kayne's story seems like she could elaborate on it if she wanted too!
I am already a big fan of Catou Martine & Mimi Strong so of course their stories Rocked.
Lot of hot steamy sex. 4 short stories all for .99 you can't go wrong!

What a good surprise to find it with about Luke and Brina. What a honey Luke is and what a great couple they made. Where do you Cassia come up with these amazing stories I am amazed and love each story. Keep the stories coming I will buy each book. After reading this book I have found another author I enjoy reading now Mimi Strong so between the both of you I have read some amazing books thank you from the bottom of me heart.
