Jonathan Green is a writer of speculative fiction, with more than seventy books to his name. The Black Templars uncover a Crimson Fists Dreadnought from the Second War of Armageddon and join forces to destroy a gathering Ork threat in the frigid wastelands...

A fun short story that had a lot of elements I enjoy: Astartes from two separate Chapters of Rogal Dorn battling a common enemy, the thoughtful moment when even a Venerable Dreadnought of the Black Templars struggles with doubt, failure and their duty to the Emperor, and an epic last stand as only Warhammer 40,000 can deliver ...

Pretty much a yawn. Glad it didn't last longer than it did. Started out ok with Black Templars and Orks facing off on Armageddon, the Templars rescue an ancient Crimson Fist Dreadnought from a tomb of ice, the rest is forgettable.
