This Complete Edition Contains Both Books I and II of The Somnibus.
*The Somnibus is not paranormal romance but a chilling paranormal thriller.*
Lost in a maze of death and betrayal, a young man with a rare paranormal power finds himself in a fight against a malevolent force hell-bent on revenge, the last man standing in a desperate battle to preserve the fate of mankind.
I am an author writing horror and paranormal stories. I pass the time training for triathlons and spending time with my wife and 2 beautiful daughters. I write stories with my 10 year old daughter and have some of the best moments of the day in that time. A child's imagination truly knows no limits.
I am honored when I learn that someone has taken time to read my work. I am even more blown away when they seek me out to let me know how much they enjoyed a story.
Rating: 5 Stars After the violent passing of his parents, Michael Black inherits a simple stone that hides a remarkable power. The use of this stone gives the user the ability to bridge into peoples minds, controlling their thoughts and actions. Bridging takes the user through a hidden world inhabited by malicious entities know as the Somnibus, who enter our world to feed.
Mr. McGray has crafted a chilling paranormal thriller that draws you in and never lets go. It is well written, and twists keep you off guard making it hard to see what's coming next. McGray's characters are strong and help progress the story.
I was particularly interested in the entities known as the Somnibus that enter our wold to feed on the weak and helpless. Very creepy stuff and an excellent read.
Rating: 4 Stars Michael Black's journey started after the murder of his parents(Somnibus Book I) and the inheritance of a small powerful stone, a trace, that would change his life. Now Michael is searching for the six traces so he can unravel the mystery of the stones and why they are so important to the Somnibus.
Author McGray returns to the world of the Somnibus, mysterious creatures that invade humans controlling their thoughts and actions.
The author rachets up the stakes for the protagonist Michael in Book II. Now Michael must save his newest love interest, Becca, along with keeping the Somnibus from acquiring all six stones and invading earth.
The pace of 'The Six stones' feels frantic at times compared to Book I, but the action dictates the pace and while I'd have appreciated it being slower; I can't complain.
Author McGray created a nasty antagonist in the Somnibus, and I'd love to see a story focused on their origins, digging deeper into the lore of the ghastly creatures.
Overall Book II: The Six Stones is a great read and well worth your time.
The complete Edition is well worth the money; two great books in one.
When his parents are killed in a gruesome car accident, twenty-year old Michael Black is left with a stone with strange powers, a developing ‘ability’ he doesn’t understand and a whole host of angry, shadowy Somnibus creatures out to get him.
I’m always cautious when starting a ‘paranormal thriller’. I love paranormal books but not the mindless gore that often fills them. If you’re like me, worry not. Somnibus has a story driven plot with just the right amount of horror. It’s the stuff of your worst nightmares; possessed but aware of what you’re doing, frothy saliva, nauseating smells and dead animals.
There are two books in the Somnibus series. The first concentrates on Michael discovering his powers and the paranormal world. The second introduces a love interest and focuses on defeating the creatures. I would suggest getting the ‘complete edition’ of the Somnibus because you 'will' want to read book 2.

I enjoyed this creepy story. It was a fast and easy read. The main character is extremely likable and I found myself cheering him on. This is the first book I have read from this author but I would surely read more.
This was the first 2 books technically I read of Craig's and I am hooked! Amazingly written and kept me interested the entire way through! Great author!!
The Somnibus is one of those books that I had in my pile and had absolutely no idea of what to think of it before I read it and for that reason I wasn’t desperate to read it. As soon as I started the book I found that it had a really original storyline, not only is it original, but it’s interesting! There are far too many books out there now where the story is so dull that you force yourself through it just to get the action at the end, it’s so refreshing to get an interesting one.
Not only do you have the excellent story line but there’s action throughout the whole book. There’s obviously more action going on toward the end of the book but for me, this is really well thought out.
McGray clearly has a talent and I believe that he will be able to write more books and improve on his already fabulous technique as he writes more.
The Somnibus features not only tragedy and heartbreak, but friendship, romance and action. The main character, Michael goes through a transition throughout the book and it’s really interesting to see the character go through some very human emotions and changes. I think that McGray has really hit the nail on the head with his characters and I’d love to see who else he can create.
This book is currently with a publisher and will be re-released very soon and I for one can’t wait to see the polished up version.
Please show your support and give this book a go, I think it would suit a variety of readers and even if you decide you don’t like it, how will you know if you haven’t read it?
I found the story interesting and I was always anxious to find out what was going to happen next. But I was disappointed at how quickly the story unraveled - something that momentous should take time to unfold. I also had a lot of unanswered questions after the last page which left me unsatisfied.
