A varied and interesting collection of poems. I loved the little notes of added information that were with some of the poems - they became more accessible and you really felt like you were having a conversation with the author. I loved the fact that you learned interesting things about history and culture through knowledge of the poems. Only recently coming to know about Felix Dennis after visiting his beautiful garden- I was intrigued by a chance to read his poetry in this book! Amongst many poems that I enjoyed reading ' After the Reading', 'Doll Talk' and
'Enough' were my favourites. The book itself is beautifully presented and illustrated by the work of Eric Gill someone else I now need to find out about!

A neat collection of original and diverse poetry that is significantly enhanced by the drawings. A great one to own.
