A strong emphasis is on publishing through Amazon's Kindle, with minor advice on publishing as PDFs. The author of the book has all of her books on Kindle and feels it is the best digital platform for eBooks today. She has tried other routes, including print vanity publishing and through the other e-publishers. She feels that Kindle offers authors the best chances with success with their book.

Lori lives in the Ozark foothills with her husband and six children. She has loved to spin stories all her life, finally publishing her first novel in 2013 after publishing 12 nonfiction books in 2012. She took the Famous Writers Course in Fiction in the early 1990's. She wrote her first novel when her oldest child was a baby, but put it away to have more children and pursue other things like web and graphic design. She came full circle when in 2011 she decided to start writing again and entered the NANOWRIMO challenge in November 2011. She spins tales from her vivid imagination under all her author names, Lori Ramsey, Lori Ann Ramsey, and Ann Laurel.

Wonderful read

What a wonderful book. I may just get up the nerve to write a book since reading this. Thank you for the information.
