It was a very meh read for me. All the elements were there to make this a quick and steamy read, but something was missing and I can't quite put my finger on it. There was plenty of hot scenes, but for me they were just words with zero emotion. I've seen other reviews and know for some this book hit the "spot", but it left me high and dry. ;)

Elyse’s life has taken a turn for the worse. Desperately seeking some way to escape her nightmare of a life, she seeks out an Inn she used to holiday at with her family when she was young. Drawn by happy memories, she finds something else entirely.
Logan—yum—now owns the Inn, a penance for his past behaviour and he isn’t interested in that or anything really, until Elyse shows up on his doorstep. He’s spent so long chasing the bottom of a bottle to forget his past sins he’s lost the will for anything. Elyse stays with him and helps bring him back from the abyss, and he opens the doors to a dominant/submissive lifestyle that makes Elyse feel free.
I’m not a huge lover of BDSM, most stories make me cringe, but Ella’s books are addictive and she writes with such emotional depth that the BDSM aspect of the story is hot, not cringe worthy. Can’t wait for more, in fact, I’m dying for Surrender to Me to come out. What will I do until then? May have to re-read Make Me Stay.

The Pleasure Inn where your fantasies become reality....SIGN ME UP! This book was HOT. The author gives you just enough in the sex scenes. The perfect amount of details and descriptions. This is a quick read. However you get a lot of story, and it does not feel rushed at all.
This is the story of Elyse and Cole. Both are trying to run from and forget their pasts.
Elyse was the head chef at her ex-boyfriend's restaurant. She decides to get away from the city, former job, and ex and goes to an old Inn her family used to visit. Logan is a player whose life was rocked by a scandal. To give him some purpose in life, his uncle gives him Pleasure Inn to run.
Elyse and Cole meet when she shows up on his doorstep at the Inn, which is currently closed down. There is an instant connection between the two, and he offers to let her stay in one of the guest rooms. Sparks fly and so does the passion. Logan is a dominant who likes control, and Elyse wants to forget and submit. This makes for the perfect combination for some steamy encounters.

Master of the Inn is the first in a series about a place called Pleasure Inn (where all your fantasies become reality). Well, if the name isn’t enough to get you to want to visit that place, let me tell you that its owner, Logan most certainly will!
The story begins with Elyse leaving New York after finding her fiancé cheating on her. She heads to a place she can remember visiting as a child with her family, a place she has fond memories of. When she arrives, she finds it completely run down. Enter Logan, the hot new owner, who has been given the Inn to try and give him some direction in life. He’s a little bit of a recluse but you can tell he’s got a big heart. He’s just lost his way a little bit and Elyse helps him find it. There is a lot of chemistry from the word go. Logan is dominant in the bedroom and Elyse is happy to experiment with being submissive, but even though the bedroom scenes are hot it isn’t the focus of the whole story. The relationship between them is very open and honest. They talk about how they are feeling, what they are comfortable with and go from there. The sex is steamy but what I loved about this book was that I just felt like the relationship was so real, they both help each other and support each other, and reading how their love develops in this story sets a very good foundation for the series. I can’t wait to read more about them in later books.

Ella Jade is a true master of erotic romance. She always manages to find the perfect balance between romantic story and the erotic smut scenes we all love. As expected with all of her work it is very well thought out and impeccably edited. Her characters are superb… this is an amazing start to a new series.
Elyse travels to the Inn where her family stayed when she was just a girl only to find it is in disrepair and not open for guests. Innkeeper Logan is intrigued by the beautiful woman who knocked on his door and offers for her to stay the night at the Pleasure Inn.
Logan isn’t without his faults, but he can be charming and is completely sexy. When I got to the end of this one I was desperate for more of this hottie! Logan whittled away a tiny piece of my heart.
This is a sexy quick read that won’t leave you disappointed. You will be chomping at the bit to read book two! I give this one a full 5 stars! Ella never disappoints.

After her life fell apart, a dream lead Elyse to an Inn she often visited as a child. I am a sucker for "dream" inspired love stories and it immediately sucked me in. Watching the Inn come to life as they both grew as individuals and eventually as a couple was such a fun read. The main characters are both so likable, even when they were at their lowest, so I am very interested to see where this series goes from here. While this story has a ton of heat, it is so much more than that. Fair Warning: You will want to read this until the very last page, so I would advise not starting it right before bed if you have an early morning ahead.
I am very excited about this series. I am a huge fan of Ella Jade and was excited to see a "Fantasy Island" type series was in the works. This is the first book in the series and really lays the groundwork beautifully, while at the same time telling a great love story. This is an 18 plus read.

Logan was caught up in a scandal which causes him to take responsibility of “The Pleasure Inn” or lose his trust fund. Elyse was tired of being used by her boyfriend and was looking for a new start, a start that ended up with her knocking on Logan’s door. Cora is Logan’s ex and is perfect being that until she spots competition. Now that Elyse and Logan are starting to get serious Cora will do anything necessary to try and stop that relationship from going any farther; if possible she wants to stop it completely and have Elyse completely out of the picture. Logan knows what he wants but can he get it before Cora completely destroys the only thing that has given him a purpose in a long time.
Master of the end was an ok read for me, I didn’t love it and I didn’t hate it. I thought the relationship was a bit rushed and the story was moving slow. However, I would read the next book in the series to see if it gets better.

I really enjoyed this story as much as all others of Ella's I have read. Ella never disappoints in her books. This book is sexy, flirty and romantic. Logan a sexy as sin, super rich bad boy gets into trouble with another mans wife causing scandal for his family, his uncle steps in and forces him to renovate and take over a run down inn to stay out of trouble. I loved Logan's character super sexy and knows it!!! and also likes a little spice in his love making. in comes Elyse a executive chef who fled New York City to re visit her past and leave her boyfriends cheating ways. I also loved Elyse character, she's somewhat hiding herself in the beginning but she gets drawn into Logan's world and she loves it. When trouble walks in it takes all they have to stay together. The chemistry between the two is hot hot hot and oh my so sexy.....highly recommend this book.....

The characters seemed real and I was rooting for Logan and Elyse the whole time (and maybe a bit for Cora to get a bit of a smackdown ... too bad that didn't happen. lol. oh well).

I was looking for a quick but steamy read and this book delivered. Ella Jade has yet to disappoint me. I have read almost all of her books and I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every one. This is no exception. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the books in this series.

This one is actually more 3.5 stars but I felt 4 stars was too high. The story was fine and continued from the first nicely. I felt that although it was very short it was much better then the first. There was more time to connect with the characters.

I wasn't too sure about this book at first but I'm pleased to say I was pleasantly surprised. Of course as always I have to pick a story that is a series and not have the next book which drives me crazy so I guess its time to go shopping for book two.

This series has quickly become one of my favorites. I really enjoyed this book. Logan and Elyse are both very likable characters, and the story between them is sweet, fun, and sexy ;)
