The Collected Hall of Mirrors

Rate this book
From award-winning author, Mike Bennett, comes The Collected Edition of Hall of Mirrors. In these pages you’ll find stories of Hell and damnation, ghosts, madness, murder, vampires, bizarre hair restoration disasters, and ... pigeons, among other things.

Hall of Mirrors is a collection of modern gothic tales with a nail of dark humour hammered through its heart.

This volume features all thirteen stories featured in the mini-volumes.

"A modern master of horror, dark comedy, and creepy psychological thrillers. I won't compare him to anyone else because quite frankly, in my humble opinion, he's head and shoulders above them all."

This collection is like a very adult combination of Tales from the Crypt & Creepshow. I really liked it!
3 - Salvation:
2 - The Grave: for me this one is the weakest of the collection
3 – Trolls: a mystery that remains a mystery; loved it
2 - The Green Man: it was okay
2 - Wet Velvet: part of the grotesque
2 - A Lovely Pair of Browns: the ending is the only horrifying part of this story
4 - Hair and Skin: 1 part horror & 2 parts weird equals a really good story
3 – Dessert: another part of the grotesque, I was not rooting for Duncan in this one, overall gross but good
4 - Poacher's Cottage: loved it
3 - Give Me a Hundred: it was okay
3 - The Exterminators: starts out pretty funny but ends not so
4 - The Haslet Technique: hilarious but nothing you want someone you know what you find funny
3 - Night Crossing:
