Leandra and Harlan will brave the unknowns of space, do anything to preserve the human race, if they don’t kill each other first. Leandra Richards receives the call to save the human race, or at least the human genome. She’s not an astronaut, she’s a genetic engineer—one of the best in her field, and one of the youngest. She’s prepared to risk the dangers of life in space, supporting the terra farming mission—humanity’s last chance for survival. At least she is until she finds out Harlan Johnson will be on the same ship. Harlan may be the only zoo archeologist under thirty-five, but he’s a lying jerk. Leandra has personal experience as proof. Very personal. Before she can make arrangements to move to another team, the launch day moves up and she has to choose to give up on humanity or board a ship with her sworn enemy—an enemy who may not be above sabotaging her lab even with everything at stake. Keeping an eye on Harlan isn’t exactly a hardship, but keeping her heart in check could prove impossible.

Reader Quantum Entanglements is the prequel to the NOAH series set approximately 1000 years earlier.

Award-winning author, Jordyn Kross, is an unapologetically naughty novelist who spent years honing her writing skills with tech manuals and marginal poetry before finding her passion for writing sexy, boundary-stretching happily-ever-afters.
When she’s not writing, she’s attempting to garden in the desert Southwest, hiking with her insane pound posse, and admiring that handsome man wandering around her house who continues to stay.
Jordyn enjoys saucy double entendres, pretending to be an extrovert, and is well-known for having no filter. And when she’s not in social media jail, she can be found on Facebook, Instagram, and Goodreads, or hiding in a dark cave peering out at Twitter.
Her award-winning Melting Hearts series of contemporary erotic romance is currently only on Amazon. Her first carnal mystery (there's nothing cozy about it), Dirty Daisy, is available wherever ebooks are sold, and some shady back alleys. She also likes to give books away to her newsletter subscribers, because readers are the best reason to keep writing. Subscribe at

Harlan jilted Leandra in college. She discredited his work. They hope never to see each other again. But years later, they find themselves on the same spaceship, sharing the same lab.

Earth can no longer support the human race, so they’ve joined the scientific team that will terraform new worlds and genetically engineer a more resilient breed if humans. (I didn’t get why Earth is in jeopardy, but maybe that’s explained other books in the series??).

That old spark of attraction is still there, but so is the distrust, and when each of their specific experiments start to go awry, they each suspect the other of sabotage.

Will they get over the past and work together to find out what’s really been happening?

Quantum Entanglements is an enemies-to-lovers, second-chance sci-fi romance. It brings the heat and the pseudo-science for an enjoyable, quick read.

Prequel to the recently released (2024) Captain's Treasure, Quantum Entanglements is a quick novella set centuries before the events in the main N.O.A.H. series. Here we learn how humans decided to start terraforming and inhabiting other planets. Naturally, because this is a sci-fi love story, the space plot is interwoven with the romance plot between our two MCs. The spice got spicy and I rooted for the adorable pairing of the FMC and MMC from the start.
I loved all the directions this novella took and how it tied so neatly into Captain's Treasure.
I'm not too fond of the astronomically long series subtitle (N.O.A.H.(Nostradamus Outerspace Advancement of Humanity)) and how it doesn't have much to do with either book. But that's me being nitpicky.
