Hey, there! I’m Jordyn Kross and I write erotic romance. I love reading sexy stories about protagonists who may seem weak or at a disadvantage. But as the plot builds, their inner strength comes forward. The people they love have to grow, too, so they can have their happily ever after. I like situations that society, or you, might be a bit uncomfortable with. In other words, I write the stories I want to read. National novel writing month encourages writers at all levels to crank out fifty thousand words on one project. This is about the length of a novel.

On a day-to-day basis, I use music or deadlines. Either one can be very inspiring. I also have a lovely muse that I call the Midnight Editor, although she actually tends to awaken me at 3 AM. Her ideas are amazing, and I'm called to write them down because if I don't they disappear in the wind never to be heard from again.(less)

Great novella follow-up to the first Demon Mart book. This one captures all the things we love and hate about the holidays. Fun, quick read. To best enjoy this, I recommend reading The Graveyard Shift first.

I read The Sightless as part of a book reading challenge, so not my usual fare. We meet Katherine and Eli first, two long time friends who've avoided a romance. The opening chapters are slow and if not for the challenge I would have stopped reading, ...more

“A crimson mane of fire cascaded down the back of a slight woman with sensuous curves. She faced a man standing too close to her, stroking her arm. Nick swallowed a growl. Where was this coming from?

It’d been forever since he’d felt the stirrings of desire, and, besides, he’d always preferred tall brunettes like Helena. He hadn’t even seen the redhead’s face. None of that mattered as he moved toward the couple. But before he’d taken three steps, the woman darted down the darkened hallway. A square of light filled the corridor as she thrust open the exit. He blinked at the blaze of sunlight on her hair before she disappeared and the door closed behind her.

“Noelle perched on the edge of the seat to avoid touching anything. The car smelled like him. Leather with a hint of something lemony. It wasn’t one of those plug-in scent makers—she’d smelled him the first day of class and promptly taken the desk farthest from his. His scent, his voice, his commanding attitude—there was no way a teacher should be so…much.”

“Before you spend a single dollar or a single minute on a new marketing approach, think critically about how a specific approach gels with your library.”
