When gorgeous tough guy Reno Gabrini finds out that his lady love Katrina is pregnant, he becomes a nervous wreck. He does everything in his power to protect her from forces real and imagined, and to make her pregnancy move along as smoothly as possible. Trina, in turn, does everything in her power to deal with his controlling ways. She also has to deal with a woman with her eyes on Reno, a best friend in serious need of her help, and in-laws with their eyes on mayhem.
But Reno’s love for her and her devotion to him trumps any setbacks they face, even as their challenges create tensions in their interracial marriage that they didn’t see coming. But Trina knows her own worth and the worth of her man, and she fight every foe that seek to destroy their union. Reno, also, remains steadfast and determined to keep his family together, even if it means tearing some of them apart.
A Mob Boss Christmas is a love story about romantic entanglements and the kind of enduring love able to withstand the fiery darts of doubt, seduction, and sexual need in its barest form.

Reading this series is like watching the last year of All My Children before it was cancelled. I'm not enjoying this exactly, but need to know what happens.
Picking up speed in these. I laughed at various parts and found it really entertaining. Now the story is getting more and more interesting. Wondering what Fran and Dirty will be up to in the next one. I wouldn't be surprised if she pulled a MarBeth on him. Cheri needed to go she was a hot mess and I really liked what happened there. No beating around the bush with Reno and Trina. They always confront things head on. I'm waiting to see what Jazz is going to get into, she should've been long gone after her second job failure. Hopefully Nathan will stepup. I figured Dirty would be an issue, I was actually surprised when he went to Reno about Drago. Let's see what the next one has in store.
Like I've always said Reno is the man!! He never disappoints! You have to give it to him he's the man! The way he talks he means what he says and he does what he means. Trina is a strong women that has proven time an time again that she is suppose to be by his side. Jimmy will turn out to be a replica of RENO. Just as long as he doesn't end up with someone like Jazz or Cheri.....Also Jazz and Dirty I expect to see you guys in the next book. I hope at some point u end up sleepin with the fishes...lol! I had to say it. This is on of my favorite series. I bought this around 8am an finished it @6pm same day. If you haven't read the books I really suggest you finish and continue with the series they don't disappoint.
This one was just an ok read for me. I'm starting to think the Mob title doesn't really fit with these books since Reno isn't exactly a Mob Boss, and his actions are just so unlike a mob boss. I've never read a mob book where the boss tells his wife basically everything. When I was reading the first 3 books of the series I often thought this over and over again, that this just does not make sense. Reno is just not ruthless enough. He is only ruthless when it comes to his family. This is commendable, but just not indicative of a mob boss. Reno and Trina had a few obstacles in this book. I really couldn't believe that Dirty was still breathing. After what he did in the last book you would think Reno would put him six feet under, but he continues to give him chance after chance...not smart. Trina also keeps making dumb moves with her friend Jazz. I mean how many times is she going to let this woman burn her. Jazz and Dirty both have revenge on their minds, so I can see a double team with them coming up in the next book. The next book really needs to pick up some steam, or it'll definitely be the last book I'll be reading in this series.
Great short story! Reno and Trina are back and better than ever. Trina is growing on me. With each story, she gets tougher and tougher. She doesn't let any woman mess with her man. She had faith in Reno, even when he didn't have faith in himself. Loved it! Reno still hasn't lost his edge either. He can be so sweet one moment and put you in your place the next. I loved how he didn't let Cheri get away with trying to ruin his marriage and he followed through on her punishment. I thought he was just going to let her run and hide. No, not Reno! He doesn't play when it comes to Trina. This story is one of my favorites in the series because of the unity Reno and Trina represent. The labor scene was HILARIOUS! I laughed out loud the entire scene. Well done!
Not sure if this is the end but for some reason I doubt it....Reno and Trina are still together and having to prove their love for each other to other people everyday......Not sure why Trina was thinking that Jazz could ever be a friend again.....and God only knows what's going on in Dirty's mind to make him behave the way that he does......Reno seems to keep making enemies eventhough he's tries to do the right thing.....So if there is another story on Trina and Reno I will DEFINITELY pick it up......Really want to see what happens with Jimmy and Tommy.....
I really enjoyed this Mob Boss Christmas story. There are some funny scenes in this book that had me in tears from laughing so hard. I'm so happy for Reno and Katrina they have their own family now. Looking forward to the next installment, we were left with unresolved drama with Jazz and Dirty.
This is one of the first books in the series that thoroughly had me laughing from start to finish. They are areas that also made you cry about the lengths that some people will go to to get what they think belongs to them. I enjoyed this Christmas Story of Reno and Trina.
Finally at least I am beginning to finish this series.
Throughout the whole series I think the main theme is how much Reno loves Trina and his family and not matter what comes against him so long as he has the love of his wife and family then he is good to go. I won't comment on all the books in the series unless something really stands out for me.
A Very Good and Sensual Interracial Romantic Pregnancy Thriller
A Mob Boss Christmas: THE PREGNANCY (The Mob Boss Series Book 5) is a very good and sensual interracial romantic thriller that earned a rating of four stars. Reno Gabrini was reluctant to have a baby with his wife, Katrina Gabrini because of his enemies, until she unexpectedly became pregnant. Together they have to fight for their marriage. I enjoyed reading this installment of the Mob Boss Series. It is humorous and just as exciting as the other episodes in the series. I would recommend this book to everyone who enjoys reading very good interracial romantic thrillers.
This is book 5 in this series. In every book Trina is as silly as the first. I understand her wanting independence.. But considering everything that has happened I feel Trina is just silly.
Awesome! That was a quick pregnancy, thankfully!!! Great epic series developing here. Love the characters, but, we were left hanging on a few,,, i e., Jazz and Dirty! However, I'm sure they will show up later! 😏
I really enjoyed this book! It was very comical! Especially the ending (birth of the baby)!!!! Now, on to Mob Boss #6 book! I am addicted to this series! Whew!
there were good moments. there were laughs (some intended and others that were just....really?? moments). there was much eyerolling. yet still I did not hate it. 2.5 stars
