The best-selling Hugs books have quickly become one of the best-selling inspirational gifts in America. Over 900,000 copies have been sold, and sales continue to grow at a phenomenal rate. Now, the Little Book of Hugs series is launched and includes Hugs for Mom, Hugs for Sisters, Hugs for Friends, Hugs to Encourage and Inspire, Hugs for Women, and Hugs for Teachers. These beautiful little two-color books do just what the titles promise: They warmly embrace the hearts of those who receive them and let that person feel loved and appreciated. You know someone who could use a little hug today....it may even be you.
My mother gifted this to me - some stories are pretty nice and there are a few quotes in there from actual children. So it's readable, just not very inspirational tbh.
This was a gift. I am just not an "inspirational stories" kind of person when it feels so separate from my day to day work as a teacher. I feel more inspired by personal accounts that are well written and cohesive, like Educating Esme.
A gift from the in-laws...actually some pretty neat little stories and thoughts.
Quick read before going to bed. Enjoyed the stories and reminders about impacting students, keeping things in perspective, having vision, reflecting on my classes, connecting with the Lord and trusting Him, and enjoying my profession.
I am not certain if this is mine or my wife's book. It's not that it matters, but it was a gift from one of our students . . . I just don't recall whose.
I haven't read it. I tend to shy away from the drippy inspirational stuff.
