Quintin Jardine (born 1945) is a Scottish author of three series of crime novels, featuring the fictional characters Bob Skinner, Oz Blackstone, and Primavera Blackstone. He was educated in Motherwell and in Glasgow where he studied at what was then the city’s only University. After career as a journalist, government information officer and media relations consultant, he took to the creation of crime fiction.
His first wife, Irene, with whom he shared over 30 years, from their teens, died in 1997. He is married, to his second wife, Eileen. They live in both Scotland and in Spain
Oz Blackstone book No. 7: In this episode Oz's wife's business is targeted by a number of forces that are stepping over the lines of what is moral or even legal. A pretty gripping thriller sees the Oz pushed to the edge. I like this series, despite reading the books at about the rate of about one every five years! 7 out of 12
Another interesting read. The Gantry Group ( Susies’s company) is threatened by a hostile takeover and Oz has to use his investigation skills to get to the bottom of the threat. Oz’ s dad Mac Blackstone had a problem which Oz try’s to fix. Oz can continues to act and become a major film star.
Scottish thriller where the main character is successful a movie actor who's wife is a successful business woman heading a large public company. There's the whole gamut of murder and mayhem, and hostile corporate takeover bids. Interesting read.
