Great book to read with your young child. My husband is tapping our trees so it was fun to learn about making syrup first had. Some of the pages had fun facts on them which really got my 5 yr old interested.

I did not know the sap was moved into tanks (or sometimes put in buckets) by a hose.

By the way, I have a German Shepherd named Maple.

I love pancakes and waffles, especially with maple syrup. You can never forget about that on your pancakes or waffles!

I love the way maple leaves look.

Learn how maple syrup starts with sap from sugar maple trees, and follow along as the sap is cooked at the sugarhouse and made into maple syrup.
