Firefighter's Night Before Christmas

by Kimbra L. Cutlip, James Rice (Illustrator)

It's the Christmas Eve shift at Firehouse One. All the firefighters are sitting down to bowls of hot chili when an old fireman stops by for a bite to eat. The firemen have to leave to fight a fire and return to find that he was not an ordinary firefighter-they were visited by Sgt. St. Nick!

I read this book for my son's daily reading time. One of many first year Christmas books for him.

Dated but great gift for a firefighter or family member.

Cute holiday edition for our Fire family.

Perfect for firefighters.

#136 Will eventually become dated by the text which includes the lines:
"And there in the rec room, the whole company
Found new lounging chairs and a flat-screen TV.
The bill for the cable was paid for the year.
With 200 channels---what fights we will hear!"

If you have a girl who loves firefighter, this is a perfect choice for a Christmas book.

Wonderful adaptation to the original story. Follow a team of firefighters as they work the Christmas Eve shift, encountering all sorts of surprises.

The artwork is extremely disturbing. They look like aliens. The story itself is dreadful.
