Trivia quiz books are fun for people who enjoy such things, and this was a good one for old science fiction movie fans. (Or possibly that should be for fans of old science fiction movies.) I didn't know that the actor who played the mutant in This Island Earth was named Eddie Parker, but I did know the name of the spaceship was The Luna in Destination Moon. There are a hundred different quizzes, with different matching exercises and lists to put in order along with the straight questions to answer. Some of the questions are quite difficult and feature obscure bits of trivia, but some are good for novices. Assemble the Space Cadets for trivia night!

It's only getting four stars because there are a few mistakes, but it is one of the toughest trivia books I've ever gone through. Still mistakes like Kelp for Kolp, and not knowing that Zira and Cornelius baby in Escape is originally named Milo, costs it a star. Fact check! Fact Check!

I remember getting this at a book fair in grade school and, even though I hadn't seen any of the movies it discussed (with the possibly sole exception of Star Wars), it was still great fun reading through all the questions and answers about films like Soylent Green, Zardoz, The Fly, The Beginning of the End (how ominous that sounded!) and tons of others. It made me want to see all of them, at least until I eventually saw how cheesy most of them were. I have seen a few since then, though...
