Really good book. I don't usually enjoy welsh books as they're often not very good [ I'm allowed to say that as I'm from Wales and welsh is my first language :) ] However I thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel, and I'm really glad my teacher chose it for us to study for our GCSE exam. He uses so many classic techniques in order to covey an array of techniques! But besides that, is a truly amazing book!

It took a while for me to get into it as a younger girl but looking back and rereading it really made me appreciate how truly amazing the story is - rereading it I notice how strong the characters are and their perseverance when things get tough.
