The book is designed to make a complex subject easier and more accessible for students, and
* briefing boxes explaining key concepts and ideas * suggestions for further reading at the end of each chapter * a glossary of terms.
Very good book. I have learned which are the hottest research topics in political science: political violence, non-violence, human rights, we have learned about small n, large n, Mill's difference method, all kinds of useful stuff for a successful political scientist. I would teach this as one of the first topics in the advanced political science degress.
Very well written introduction to the methodological techniques of Comparative Politics. Concise, excellent examples, and clear diction. Would recommend for Political Science students.
