How do I feel about this book ? It's well written it's poetic, the words flow across the page like music. Do you believe in soul mates, what would you do if you met yours at what seems like the worst time would you strong enough to fight those feelings? I found myself emotional while reading this book . I was mad at the timing and hopeful that something would work out for this couple . I was not ready for this book ,but I am so glad I read it. The soul is a powerful thing , and when you meet your mate, even time can't keep you apart and that is the story the author tells in this book . This is not your typical neat love story but this is a story about love.

This book was super great! I loved this love story of a spiritual connection that was reincarnated. I picked this book because it had a quote by one of my favorite authors eric jerome dickey. So i did not know what to expect. The author has an interesting writing style and as the story begins in the past and I had a preconceive notion from this beginning that this was not the book for me but I was WRONG ! Its so important to start the book in previous time and with a vague love affair and such a short amount of information its all important. Because once this author brings the story to the present time zone you will be excited by her writing style. Her analogies will have you rolling! She had me cracking up! do u feel the hype yet? :) So there are 4 points of views Tailyer, Derrick, Shayla, and Nathaniel. Taiylor and Shayla are real tight home girls and their dialogue is what brings you in the story and keeps you there until the last page.
T.P. Carter keeps it real and the language is down to earth. You grow so close to the characters that you can feel what they feel and you will be talking, laughing with this book. Shayla is a lesbian and mentally battles with her love for her girlfriend Gria and her place with God and her father the preacher. Yes this seems different from what i described but its a side story like a side of mac and cheese and you wont be bored by it.
The meat of the story , the real deal steak and potatoes of it all is Nat and Taiylor! The author slow teases you into this love reincarnated and every aspect will have you flipping pages like crazy. there are several sex scenes and they interestingly described. this book definitely has me looking for more of this author's books!!!!

I finished it in a week...bulk of the reading done in one day. I have to say this. It kept me captivated. As an author I personally believe that the book would have been better from only two characters view points. I feel like Shala’s story line didn’t evolve completely...her relationship with her father.

The author made the scenes between Taiyler and Nat come off the page! I felt their connection every time they were in the same room or even thought about each other.

well, i'm fourteen years old and i loved the book. i couldn't stop myself from crying in the end. i don't think Nat was selfish though. i just felt that he was in love. And it was best for him to do what he did instead of leading his wife on. i liked Derrick at the beginning, but at the end, he's on my hit list. i loved the book. i'll recommend it to anyone. 5 stars!

I thought this book was amazing!! How everything tied in and the ending, o man was good. The book actually reminded me of the movie Hancock (minus the superpowers) for some reason. All in all the book was really good.

I absolutely loved it!!! Loved the drama, the way the characters were entwined and didn't know it. Loved the past, present, future soul mate connection. This book inspired me to write my own novel. Would like to see more books.

This book by Carter is not my normal fare, but bought the book for my wife to read. I got to it first and struggled some at the first but became engaged in the plot and liked the book by the time I finished. It had a surprise ending for me. I thought she did a good job with the characters and the plot.
