Chris, an award-winning professor, teaches negotiation and organizational behavior at the graduate and undergraduate level. Prior to his academic work, Chris held sales and management positions in several high-tech and start-up organizations.

This is like the bible of After Effects. It explains so many things (like the AE text animation engine, etc.) that you won't found broken down anywhere else. The Meyers are incredible.

Andrew Kramer's video tuts are better than any book ;P
