I can't say enough good things about this book. No knowledge to creating a PHP / Apache CMS inside about 8 weeks. Excellent resource.
Since updated twice, but I don't need to upgrade yet.

It is good books for beginners.

What I don't like is the bad programming practices they are using.

Very good introduction to PHP5 with MySQL. This book includes a ton of examples of how to do various things. Ideal for someone just getting into PHP who is very hands on.
