Stephan Grundy is an author I have followed since " Rhinegold". This book started out well, and by the time I was half way through the plot became ridiculous. The book is well written, which I expect from Grundy.

German book - German review:

Ein nettes Buch mit viel authentischem Mittelalter, dass an einigen Stellen für die Story erweitert wurde. Fällt in die Kategorie Schmöker, aber bei weitem nicht so gut wie die Rheingold-Reihe.
