Eric Gordon Hill OBE was a popular author and illustrator of children's picture books, best known for his character Spot the Dog. His works have been widely praised for their contributions to child literacy. He was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2008 New Year Honours.
As a longtime admirer of Eric Hill’s gentle, timeless tales, Spot at Home captures the cozy spirit of rainy-day play in beautifully minimalist style. 🌧📖
Someone needs to explain to me why these books are so popular. I would really prefer books that didn't have the protagonists watching TV, particularly if it has no real redeeming value. Nothing interesting or special about this book.
