Every other page is missing. A big letdown from a Kindle book. No way to report to Amazon I tried the “Return a Kindle Book Order” page but it goes to an error page: “SORRY we couldn't find that page Try searching or go to Amazon's home page.”
This book uses a bunch of rhyming words. It's about a robot and a person who are trying to fly and go on adventures together. They use the robot as a spaceship to go to space. They see outer space and everything it consists of. They then see an alien and think they are under attack and the are really scared. After seeing the alien they decide it is time to go home.
This book is about two kids, Clara and Clem that go to outer space on a robot. While in outer space they get attacked by an alien, but get away from him just in time. The robot takes Clara and Clem home and then they decide to do it all over again!
Clara and Clem both take a ride on a robot. They go into outer space and they see earth, stars, mars and a black hole with a hungry alien inside. A book for emergent readers.
My kiddo really enjoyed this one. It is in more of a graphic novel format since the only thing to read are the words being said. It is simple but nice.
Hurray! Ethan Long brings us another successful easy reader, this one for the very beginning crowd (level A-D, kindergarten). And it's science fiction, kind of. A welcome addition.
Incidentally, I am very grateful for Penguin's attempt to streamline the numbered leveling system, and for including guided reading levels.
Clara and Clem head to outer space on a rocket they build together. They zoom past stars and dodge hungry aliens. Very beginning readers will enjoy the simple rhyming words and colorful cartoon illustrations. Each page has only one or two words in large dialog cartoon bubbles. Take a look at the Google Preview to get a sense of the pacing:
Clara and Clem build a robot out of blocks and use him to adventure to Outer Space. The rhyming text utilizes speech balloons to further distinguish the outgoing Clara and the reluctant Clem. An appropriately brief adventure for a newly independant reader.
Clara and Clem in Outer Space is an adorable children's book. It's fun and keeps kids interested while it's being read to them (or if they are reading it on their own).
Beginning reader Clara and Clem take a trip to outer space on a robot. They see planets, black holes, space monsters, etc. before returning to their home. Simple text for emergent readers.
