I can't say enough about this collection of eclectic and nutritious recipes. I LOVE trying new and interesting things with the huge variety of veggies I find at the farmer's market in the summer, and this book has got something for everyone. About half of the book is dedicated to veggie/fruits/grains/oils/all things vegetarian facts - nutritional info, as well as simple recipes like pesto and good tips like parboiling shallots before attempting to peel.

By far one of my favorite sit down and contemplate life with a good cuppa tea books. Yes, even though it's a cookbook.

More of a coffee table book than a daily use cookbook, but most of the recipes are actually delicious, and the reference info at the front is invaluable.
