Wow, this was a garage sale find recently and it is filled with awesomely spooky stories. My 6 year old LOVES anything spooky so that is why we picked it up; reading the stories aloud to her has been a lot of fun. These are so well written and many get right to the heart of my inner scaredy cat. They don't bother my kid at all and she really likes to read about the authors of each story; it is fun to learn how the kids and adult authors worked together.
Itsy Bitsy Spider starts the book out strong! Nightmare inducing spider creep fest! And The Companion is hauntingly scary to me; my daughter loved The Companion so much she had her dad read it to her too! He agrees, creepy!
