This is a beautiful book and I loved the spacious treatment of the featured historical manuscripts. Rarely are they given so much space and printed so clearly. The projects were also lovely—practical and useful, and simple enough to be approachable. In an ideal world the steps in each project would be broken down further and explained more explicitly, but a book can't be everything to everybody and I just love this one.
this book surely helped me pass my calligraphy class back in my college years. anyone can learn this beautiful art just by reading this book. i'm sure you'll be delighted by how easily you can learn the art of calligraphy. it's illustrated with full-color photographs. the guidance begins on how to select the right equipment. follow by step by step letterforms writing tutorial. and a lot of bright ideas for many decorative projects.
