One cliche after another. Perhaps if this had been a full novel, given time to truly develop rather than be rushed it wouldn't have been such a poor read.

Her Dream Dom is the 5.5 book in the Masters of Submission series by Jan Bowles. While this book is part of a series it can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel.
Jack Montrose is back at Club Submission after a three year absence and he is drawn to Sara Deveraux. Jack is a Dom who enjoys playing with rope and is looking for a sub to play with that enjoys it as well. Jack is a hot and sexy Dom.
Sara has had a bad Dom who compromised her safety during a bondage scene so Jack through her for a loop. I admire Sara, she knows what she wants in her sex life and is willing to try to fulfill it even after a bad start.
The chemistry between Sara and Jack is scorching right from the first time they saw each other. The sex scenes were not just hot but realistic as well. Sara and Jack are a great match for each other as long as they trust each other.
I found this book well written with interesting and engaging characters. Ms. Bowles writing just comes alive within the pages of this book. Overall, this is a wonderful book. While I have read several books in this series this is the best yet. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Loved the story, for a quick read, it includes everything you would find in a full length book - the meeting, the attraction, the explosive encounter, the merging of lives and the sappy ending! Sara's kink is bondage but she had a bad encounter with her ex and her safety was compromised during rope play. Jack has returned home to take over his family business and is a rope Master. He is drawn to Sara immediately, they perform a demonstration and he takes her home. They have a scorching, burning encounter that will leave you breatheless - a quick jump in time and Sara and Jack still amazingly in love. Through their interactions you get background information on them both, and connect with the characters so you don't feel slighted at the end but still want more! AMAZING!!!!

Suspension of disbelief was broken completely when a friend of Sara (female MC) accepted an invitatiion for Sara to scene on her behalf. That's a BDSM no-no. This isn't meant to be non-con, and that is not consent. It's an even bigger no-no when you know your friend has had her trust abused recently.

Good read
I really liked the storyline and the main characters. However, they were not well developed. I did not feel that i knew them well enougj to be very invested in the outcome of their story.

Great short about shibari. Ending was a bit abrupt which is why it got a three instead of four. But I liked it up to that point.

Quick, romantic, hot read! I found this book by chance and have another author on the BDSM genre I will look up from now on. I know its pure fantasy but one can only dream!!!

I can see that this had a a lot of potential, but because it is so short it left me with a serious case of I want more.
