This was an OK book, similar plot as others I've read where the "good" doctor has to figure out why his critically ill patients are dying. As the title suggests, it may be a case of mercy kiling, but the patients who are dying appeared to be recovering well from varying neurological ailments. Then there is drama in the doctor's personal life just to add to the tension.
What I didn't care for about this book is that it was written by a Christian author who makes sure to remind readers that the main character and those he associates with are also Christian at every available opportunity. I enjoy Christian fiction, and Christianity did play a key role in the plot, but I felt smothered by it.
