Action -- check! Suspense --- check! and of course intrigue all made the family saga "Ti Amo (Battalgia Mafia #2)" by Sienna Mynx a thrilling and enjoyable read!
It's 1991 -- two years later and Don Giovanni's war against the Calderones has made him into a bloodthirsty monster directly after his BellaMira's death. Lorenzo, Gio's cousin had been task to kill the last of the Calderone, Angelo and also Fish, the man who planted the bomb that supposedly killed Mira. First, Lorenzo finds Fish in a seedy strip joint and discovered that Mira was not killed in her apartment two years earlier but it was her assistant, Angelique who favored her and she is alive and well with her beautiful baby--- Giovanni's baby and oh yell, Kei her ex.
Gio and Mira's reunion was not the best of reunions. There was tension but noticeably so they had feelings for one another -- still. Sienna Mynx weaves this story so cleverly with Eve Fabiana Battaligia, Gio's daughter instantly having her Papa wrapped around her chumby fingers. And that pacifier aka plug was so relatable to how babies are attached to it like a milk bottle.
Now Mira is still the same independent good girl but after losing Fabiana and others she is very loyal to Kei for helping her escape her past after Gio's advisor, Flavio lied about Gio and told her to leave his country. Regardless the story leads us to Mira still being Gio's light in his darkness and all the character knew of Mira's love and power over Gio as the only thing that could bring sanity back to the true legacy of the Battaglia family. Lorenzo, Dom, Carlo, Nico and even his sister Catalina were missing the man Gio had been but knew Mira was his cure along with his - bambina, Eve.
These secondary characters in "Ti Amo' were more so even memorable in this story than book 1. We get to see how Catalina's head ticks when it came to Domi and how her husband, Franco discovered her sin and use it against her. No, Catalina's relationship with Gio's advisor, Dom was never over with even after she married Franco-- the love only grew stronger.
Okay now, no more SPOILERS! So just know this story was an epic rollercoaster ride --twisting and turner till up very last page.
Recommended and approved as another Sienna Mynx, 5++ stars *****
Ti Amo is the the second book in the Battaglia Mafia series. Don Giovanni Battaglia has taken the "death" of Mira Ellison, the love of his life, really hard. He has declared war everyone he considers responsible and even his family is not immune from the ruthlessness forged in his grief. The fireworks really explode once he discovers the truth of her actual fate.
I only have one minor complaint about this series so far. This story is set in the 80's but it never references any of the fun facts or fashions of the period. Considering that Mira is a fashion designer that doesn't make sense.
Reread 01/12/19: I had to amend my previous comment about 80's fashion not be well represented. The story begins in the late 80's, into the early 90's. The fashion described matches that aesthetic very well. This is when the series started to reveal itself as something special. I also added another star.
Now I should have followed my first mind and waited to read this when the 3rd install had already come out. The reason being is that I can't get enough of these two. I am in awe of this story, the author did an awesome job. I love the alpha male Gio and how determined he was with Mira. I can so picture baby Eve with her ninny. Mira was duped by Kei I hope he gets whats coming to him. I have no doubt he will. Kei had the nerve to say my baby in referring to baby Eve...really jackass. The whole Isabella lady that visits him in jail kinda puzzled me but maybe I'll understand more in the 3rd book. Catalina was a dumbass and very selfish I think. She could have handled her situation very differently. I liked how Mira stepped up in the end to her role as "donna" for exp when she told Lorenzo she was gonna tell her man about Dom and Catalina...Lorenzo wasn't ready for that. I teared up when her bestie Fabiana visited so emotional...This installment had alot of action in it without losing the romance factor. **taping my nails waiting on February**
OMG!! Book 2 to the Battaglia Series was awesome! The way that Sienna describes his dark wavy hair, wide shoulders, broad chest just makes me melt. I was elated to see the return of the real Gio with the help of Mira! I'm glad to see how Mira handles her role as the new Donna! I want an HEA for Catalina and Domi; Domi deserves it more so than Catalina - LOL! And... dear firefly Eve is such a cutie; she has Gio wrapped around her little finger;-) And what will happen with this love sick fool manipulator, Kei? I can't wait for Book 3 - come on February. That seems so far away!
This one had me holding on from the start! From the second Giovanni sat on that couch with the envelop I was on edge. I knew something was up with Kei but I thought his character would be way more dangerous, hopefully this isn't over with him and he's just now getting started. Mira was really disappointing in this one, she just caved every turn. She seemed like a totally different person then the one that dined with Fabiana when they first met Lorenzo. She was true to character when she continued to fall for the ookee doke though. Disappointed that she didn't stand up to Giovanni from the jump and the little bit that she did stand up nothing came from it.
I think she did Kei really dirty, she knew what the deal was with Giovanni from the beginning so pretending that she was scared of anyone was lame. When she first found out she should've sent some type of word to Giovanni regardless of the war going on. Kei did what he had to do to keep them safe even with her not feeling him he still went way beyond what he had to to protect them. Still not sure what Lorenzo has up his sleeve but I'm sure it will all come out soon and when it does it's going to be great. The next one has to be good if Kei can get his stuff together.
Ti Amo Sienna Mynx for writing this wonderful series Gio is back and no one will come between him and his woman. When he found about Mira he went after his woman but got the surprise of his life Eve his daughter. I really enjoyed reading about Eve I could actually see the cute little blue eyed baby with her pacifier in her mouth,It was just adorable the way she is written. Gio with Mira is a sexy as ever I was so happy they found a way back together. I love the way Gio can be a hard Mob Boss and a sweet lover and father at the same time but totally relate-able to me as a reader he is one of my favorite male characters written. This book comes to a wonderful conclusion while leaving you wondering what will happen next because things have been set in motion for more drama between Gio and Mira. I cant wait to read the next book to find out.
This is the second book in the Battaglia Mafia Series and I loved reading this book. Don Giovanni Battaglia is in a mafia war he had his second in command killed because he sent Mira away with another family after her he thinks she is dead and he is making people pay for it. Two years later Mira who had Giovanni's baby a little girl name Eve she is in hiding thinking that she is in the witness protection program and her only friend Kei who I knew was lying to her he wants her all to himself. This book was really good everyone trying to hide the things that they have done. Lorenzo who killed someone to keep his secret's hid started the war that cost Fabiana her life he is trying to find the tape of his real crime. Catalina Giovanni's sister is sleeping with Domi Giovanni's new second in command who is also their adopted brother. When Giovanni finds out that Mira is still alive he goes to get her and finds her little surprise and brown skinned blue eyed baby and he takes one look at Eve and falls in love with her and Mira all over again. Giovanni should have killed Kei because he finds out that Kei is part of the Chinese mafia Triad and that he kidnapped Mira to keep Gio from her. Mira agrees to go back to Italy with Gio if he lets Kei go I found it funny that he thought that Kei was her boyfriend and was jealous when he was having sex with different women. Mira is still in love with him and now she must accept that he is never going to let her go and she must protect her baby. This was a really good book it was well written with no errors in spelling or grammar. This book ends with a cliffhanger I really want to know who the woman is that visited Kei in jail and why she is threating Mira. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
So Ms. Mynx did it again with the second installment of the Battaglia Mafia Series. We've been waiting on pins and needles for the reunion of Giovanni and the love of his life, his Bella and it was so totally worth the wait!
I just love reading about everyone in this book. Everyone we met in book one was in some way in book 2 setting the scene for what I know is going to be a spectacular book 3. I dont want to give anything away so I will end my review with this. Giovanni is so wonderfully awesome, Mira still has some naivete but I think that she showed some maturity by the end of this book.
I CANNOT WAIT to see what is in store for this family. This is a must own, must read, must re-read.
Okay book 2 in the series and I love it. Mira and Gio are back together again. However, Kie has been allowed to live and is causing all kinds of trouble for our couple. I wish Gio had just killed him but then he would have been in trouble with Mira - so no winning there.
Well worth the money and time. Highly recommend the series.
Sienna does it again with Book 2 in the Battaglia Series. I was so into this continued storyline and I am still hating on the women in this story, ESPECIALLY the lead Mira (not Zia I will never hate on Zia). I will never like Mira I can just tell, she is a fool and I can't relate to fools in books or in real life, I just can't. However, this book deserves five stars because the story is so rich and drama filled and the characters I do like just feel like "real" people, with their flaws and emotions and thoughts. I truly loved every moment of this book, even my screaming rants towards Mira and that dang Catty Catalina (mainly Mira though because ugh).
Ti Amo is a continuation of Destino and it starts up about two years after the end of Destino. As everyone knows by now Don Giovanni Battaglia and Mira Ellison were in a relationship that suffered a serious strain after a tragedy struck their lives. Mira was whisked away to New York under false pretenses by Flavio, Giovanni's Consigliere, as he was not a fan of Mira's and the hold she seemed to have on Giovanni's heart and mind. Once back in New York, Mira goes back to her ex, sneaky, mysterious Kei who gets her out of town to Switzerland, as a way to keep her safe from the mafia; that is looking to put a hit on her, as a way to get at Giovanni. This is when things really begin to kick off and the story gets going.
Now, Giovanni is my dude in this series all the way around, even when he is on his alpha male BS, I am here for Giovanni. I felt the worst for him though reading this book; because Mira was really trying to play him and I DID NOT appreciate it one bit. For about two years Giovanni and Mira were separated for certain reasons and Giovanni thought he would not see Mira again. However, Giovanni gets some information regarding Mira from his cousin, sheisty, Lying Lorenzo and he sets out to get Mira from Switzerland, where she has been staying. When Giovanni and his crew arrive in Switzerland they see that Mira has been staying with her ex Chinese lover, Kei and that there is another surprise. Mira is so sickening here because she was clearly in the wrong for a lot of what has happened in the last two years, but in true Mira fashion, she stays trying to blame Giovanni and his lifestyle for her predicament. Uh, no boo boo. She needs to blame herself for being willfully ignorant and naïve and only wanting to see the fairytale of love and Giovanni's lifestyle. She totally robbed Giovanni of so many happy experiences in the two years they were apart and that was SELFISH and not her call to make alone in my opinion. I am with Giovanni 100% for taking her back to Italy and sorting out their affairs because her actions hurt a lot of people besides him and she was totally wrong for doing what she did.
Mira, Mira, Mira! I have so much disdain for this character that I could write a series of books on how much I do not care for her and why. Explain to me how Mira wants and expects forgiveness from Giovanni for her awful, selfish and bootleg choices, but she is so quick to point the finger at him and not readily forgive him for actions that occurred in their past. Also, the things Giovanni dealt with were issues that were part of his lifestyle and Mira knew that. She won't forgive him for an action that happened and it WAS NOT his fault, but to keep the peace and because he loves Mira he is willing to take the blame and try to move on. Um, no Giovanni, you don't owe Mira an apology for anything. Mira chose to be with Giovanni and his family, so if you are choosing that life you have to deal with what comes along with it, not only the good parts that suit your tastes. Plus, she needed to be angry with Lorenzo because it was his sneaky, duplicitous actions that led to tragedy in Giovanni and Mira's life. Also, what Mira took from Giovanni in the two years she was away from him, he could never ever get back or re-live, so she owes him big. ANNND, how is Giovanni going to come and get you and you are living with your ex lover, that is trying to be your lover again and you are entertaining the idea of it and that is how Giovanni finds you, after he was heartbroken over you and going crazy from not having you around?! Ugh, she is such a trifling mess, I can't even deal.
Catalina is still Catty and annoying in this story as well, but she was doing the ultimate schemy, manipulative nonsense, when it came to her and her husband Franco. She is just horrible and I know her antics will continue and add drama to this story. I love Domi and I know he loves Catalina and she loves him, but uh uh, he needs a nice girl who isn't a manipulative, snake in the grass like Catalina. She irks my life and stays getting poor Domi in trouble with Giovanni; who is already angry with Domi over Catalina. Also, Catalina talks too much and always kind of gives away information that is supposed to be a secret, it's like girl SHUT UP!
Lying Lorenzo is up to his usual antics of foolishness and trying to clean up some mess he created from plotting and planning and not thinking things through all of the way. Of course other people are starting to be drawn into his devious plots and we will have to see how they fare because I keep saying it, Lorenzo is about Lorenzo, the end.
Overall, I loved this story as well and I feel like the plot just keeps getting better and better. I am looking forward to reading many more installments in the series, so keep 'em coming Sienna!
I liked Ti Amo better than I liked the first book. I even warmed up to Mira in this one. Of course, I loved Giovanni just as before. He is all man and I love that. I couldn't help but wonder what made Giovanni and Kei so attracted to Mira. I just didn't see the qualities that they did, but then again, I'm a woman.
I wished that Giovanni would have killed Kei when he had the chance. I don't like him in the story. He needs to go away. I'm not looking forward to reading about him in the next book.
Eve was my absolute favorite person of all time in this story. She was sweet and I imagined her to be so beautiful. I loved the way she loved her daddy. Giovanni turned out to be such a wonderful dad. Giovanni and Eve stole my heart.
The back stories were also very interesting. I was rooting for Catalina and Domi. And I really hope that Lorenzo can find the love of his life. I like Lorenzo and I am glad that he was able to get back into Giovanni's good graces there at the end.
I am so impress with the knowledge that Sienna Mynx has of the Mafia and their actions. Can't wait for the next book.
I've had this book for several years but I couldn't get past the beginning. I realize now it's because I was trying to read the second book without having read the first. Nevertheless once I finally got to chapter 4 I was hooked. I now know what all the hype is about #SiennaMinx has joined #delaneydiamond #TrishaThompson and #roxierivera as one of my favorite authors
This is Book #2 of an awesome series that is unfortunately not getting its just desserts. Amazing love story, steamy love scenes, heartbreak, betrayal and a well developed plot. Friends you are missing out on a treat if you pass up this series.
A continuation into the Battaglia Mafia series. Gio & Mira are the front and center story as they battle over their past, present, and hopefully future. Mira comes across more mature, as (due to Eve) she has been resigned in her decision of what she would do...if Gio ever found out.
Which of course he does...and OMG! Here I was all excited...waiting for the scene annnndddd
After the re-uniting scene, I felt sort of let down. Argggh, I wanted a bit more fireworks. I think I wanted Kei to put up a fight, and than it take longer for Mira & Gio to work it out. Don't get me wrong, the pace was fine, but I feel like things work out a lilllltttleee too neatly for Gio. I haven't seen him really sweat. I know he blamed himself for what he thought happened to Mira, but I he didn't give me anything I haven't seen in the first book: lonely, cold, sad, Gio. Well, he did stop shaving, lol! Anyway, I actually liked possessive dad Gio better in this book. Kei was a great side character, and the series progression is coming along nicely.
The steam is still there, and it was a fun light-hearted read. The ties have still not ended as there are some characters who will be back...
Ti Amo picks up where Destino left off with Bella fleeing the US after a second attempt on her life by the enemies of her most recent ex-lover, Giovanni. She is in hiding for a couple of years with a surprise package when Gio learns that she still lives. Bella’s first ex, Kei kept her safe and in hiding, but he carried secrets of his own. Once Giovanni realizes that Bella still lives, he intends to bring her back to Italy and doesn’t give her a choice regardless if she wanted to or not.
The story was a good story even though there were some people, (ie-Gio’s sister) Catalina frayed my nerves a bit with her selfishness, but she was also very loving to those she considered family and Lorenzo (Gio’s cousin), who still have ulterior motives but I’m still interested in his wounded soul. The story line was intriguing as it unfolded the true nature of Kei and his intentions for Bella and Gio’s descent into destruction and how Bella had to help him unpack all of the vengeance that he had in his heart when he thought his enemies killed her. The story ends on a somewhat happy note as Bella finally accepts a date for a wedding from Gio, but Bella’s ex, Kei has a new ally and this person has set their eyes on Bella once more so the drama continues.
After the cliffhanger of the last book I knew this one would be explosive and it certainly was. Giovanni was is usual powerful self, but with Mira by his side she makes him show that bit of compassion that makes him a character you can't help to fall in love with. Mira was such a strong woman in this book. She did what she had to do to protect her child at all costs. She really came into her own as the Donna of the family. Diffusing situations that could have gone terribly wrong. She really held the family together when they needed to stay strong. I think I'll be sad to see this series end after the next book. The writing is just so explosive, the storyline is attention grabbing, and the love scenes are oh so erotic. Sienna Mynx remains one of my top favorite authors.
I really had high hopes for this one. (I'll keep it short and I apologize in advance if this post is a bit rambly.) I gave this book 3 stars and I felt like that was a bit generous. The storyline was okay. Too much sex in my opinion, but okay overall. I have to say that Mira really disappointed me in this one. In the last book, I thought of her as strong, but in this one she just let everyone walk all over her and I really did not understand why. Because of this, her relationship with Gio took a back seat to Catalina's selfishness. I REALLY disliked this girl in this book and I was super pissed that no one would set her straight and make her see the error in her way. I mean how true is your love for someone if you have to turn them into someone else to protect yourself? As I was reading her scenes I could not help but to think that maybe her cousin Aurora had a reason not to like her, separate from the fact that Catalina does not think about anyone but herself. Catalina is really hard to like. I do not think her family would like her if they were not her family. If there's an issue, she manages to turn the situation to her (made up) problems. Honestly, love and family is very important, but I would simply shrug if something bad happens to her in the next one. In my opinion, she did not try hard enough. From the beginning, she was out to do wrong. Also, it would have helped if everyone's age was stated clearly. I might have missed it, but how old is Dominic? Isn't it ironic that Gio disembodied a man in the first book because he liked bambinas and everyone thought it was just, but Dominic simply get a tap on the wrist for pretty much the same thing? Mira overstepped protecting him for his actions. I'm happy that Gio said it because of his family and their own personal needs leading the family awry. Gio went from one extreme, doing things in the best interest of his family business, to another extreme, doing whatever other people wanted him to do through Mira. It's no surprise that they never seem to catch a break because Gio keeps forgiving and letting the men have leadership roles after showing to him time and time again their true colors. At this point, it's as if a bunch of high school kids are running the operation. I do feel bad for Kei though because even though he manipulated Mira, he did have her best interest in mind. He went above and beyond to protect her even though everyone knew she would always pick Gio over logic. It got to a point when she 'tried' to stand her ground I'll roll my eyes because it seemed like she was just pretending to resist so that later she can say that she did because the next second she gave in to anyone's demands. I'm excited to read the next book for Lorenzo because I do believe there's more to him than what we have seen so far, but, again, I do not really trust him. Not excited to have to skim over multiple unnecessary sex scenes. If I have more comments later, I'll edit this post, but I hope the next one proves to be better!
Goodness gracious...I have no idea where to begin with this story. The story was well written, the plot had the right amount of drama and intrigue to make me devour this book, yada yada. So why the one star rating? We'll get to that.
This book was not bad, and I would love to read more like it. It was so different from a lot of the popular romances nowadays, and I felt it was well thought out. There's violence, lots of violence, and sex, lots of that too; and it ended with a huuuuuge cliff hanger.
*SPOILER ALERT*
So now for my issues: 1) what kind of friend lets her best friend go out with even a suspected MAFIA BOSS? If my friend let me get into what Fabiana let Mira get into, words (and maybe a few punches) would definitely be exchanged.
2) I hate how Mira loses her resolve as the book goes on; she started off so strong (which, again, is not found in many popular books now) and by the end of the book she's as spineless and weak as they come. That was the second hardest thing to stomach: how by the end of the novel she basically just rolls over and lets Giovanni walk all over her.
3) I hated the fight scene between Mira and Fabiana. I hate how guilty Mira started to feel after she and Fabiana argued; Mira had every right to be angry that Fabiana knew what Giovanni and his family were up to but didn't tell her, and instead pushed her to be with Giovanni. Again, words would've been exchanged.
Now, I could overlook all the little transgressions I just mentioned, but the reason I HATED this book was the grand bastard himself, Giovanni Battaglia.
4) Giovanni is a no-good, selfish, brutal SOB and he deserves to be confined to a hole to rot for all of eternity. There are so many reasons I hate Giovanni (he lied to Mira about, well, everything; he closed down her shop that she worked hard for because of his illegal activities--then lied about it, then threw it in her face; and his overall selfishness).
Goodness, by the end I couldn't wait to finish the story, and for a couple weeks I struggled with whether or not to suffer through more of Giovanni's sh*t and lies, or try and rectify my love for reading with another book. I chose the latter, and as a friend of mine finished the series and told me what happened, I'm glad I didn't continue.
If you like weak "heroines" and douchey, lying Mafia men, this book is right down your alley.
This is the second book in the Battaglia Mafia series. You learn more of the characters that you met in Destiny. Sins and consequences, poor decisions, lies, betrayals, evil actions.... all because of love. None of the characters come out looking good.
Gio is head of his family and his word is law or is it? Mira is brought back home with a little brown skinned, blue eyed daughter, Eve. Catalina's and Dominic's secret sin is revealed. Franco, Catalina's husband, has a secret sin of his own. Lorenzo's betrayal is punished but is there a worse, undiscovered betrayal? He's punished and restored to his position in the family.
The sins of the family are revealed but what about the consequences? Is Gio the master puppeteer or does Mira pulls his strings? Kei is blamed for everything that happened to Mira. Will Mira, the incomparable Donna, continue to escape the responsibility for her own actions or will Gio keep protecting her as Kei did? She is not without sin. Why is Dominic held to a higher standard than is Catalina? Catalina is the most self-serving, manipulative, evil, person of all. Why are others always excusing her? Will Lorenzo's sin come to light or will others keep being adversely affected because of it? Does anyone pay for the consequences of their sins?
The book starts off so positive but ends on a negative note. No one comes off very well in this book. Poor misunderstood Gio is the most likable. There's so much you still want to know, so on to book three in the series. Yes, I loved the book even while hating the people.
The drama Mira and Gio go through living the life of the mafiosi, This story had my emotions going up and down. The twist an turns in the plot had me wondering when they would get a break. Poor Gio was a shell of a man without his Bella. He was burning the world down to exact his revenge on any and everyone who had anything to do with her unfortunate circumstances. With Lorenzo trying to regain favor with Gio turned his life right again, plus his surprise when he found his Mira just made him see had to live his life differently. But there was still all of the deceit and lying in the family and outside of the family he had to deal with and it was only Mirabella that could soothe his savage rage.
Kei was not happy and he wanted his Mira and Eve back and was willing to do anything to get Gio out of their lives. It's going to be interesting to see how he reacts to the news of Mira's new addition.
I love this story and how Gio's inner fight with his old personality trying his best to be a better man for his Bella. He loves his family and wants to do good by them but the old mafioso ways get the best of him. Mira accepts him for who he is but guides him into a different path for the sake of their daughter.
Ah, we are back again aren't we? And uh-oh she had his baby ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Lets keep this review short, shall we?
After two years in hiding because everything thinks she is dead, Mira has a two-year old daughter and the gang finds her out of nowhere. Giovanni, as oblivious as he is, is surprised that he has a child and is angry that he missed out on her life. He accepts the child anyway because that is what mafia men do. And then there is Kei another complication to their wild love story. Giovanni is pissed at Mira for hiding, and Mira is sad that he changed even though he is the exact same person from when she met him. Then, they have sex. And then have more sex. He proposes and all is well because Mira can't refuse. But wait, there are more secrets. Pretty amazing, right? If you read my other review, you know that I strongly dislike this book. The first book was bad, but this book is horrible. The quality went down drastically because it is boring. I don't care about these characters, but I honestly want to know how does this series end (and, I can already tell where this is going). I'm currently halfway on the third book and it gets worse trust me...
I did something I said I wouldn't do with series and that I haven't done in a while, that read them back to back. I had to start this one right after Destino to see if Giovanni was going to choke Mira for keeping his baby away.
I love this series so far and I had to force myself to stop and not read the 3rd book right now. To take the edge off I went back to my 1st love of mafia families the Medlov's.
I was so happy when Giovanni showed up, I wanted to see what Kie had because we all know he is hiding secrets. This one didn't turn out like I thought but in a way I was happy but the drama is to be continued in the next book. You want drama it takes a scorned woman to bring it.
An emotional roller coaster I don't mind riding again. This book picked up right we're it left off. Gio and his anger was understandable. I really like how his character change went on through out the book. Mira I'm trying to get use to. She's had a lot going on but willing go back and as fast as she did just shocked me. She had been through a lot. Now, Kei what a shocker!!! That's all imma say. This was better than the first. The extreme detail to what was going on was highly developed. Can't wait until February for the next installment. Thanks Sienna!
I read this book years ago. The first time I didn't like it. The second time I did it for understanding, and this third time was because a Facebook post got me interested in a question and I read it.
Sienna has always been very good in thos series to take small hints and clues about something and turn it into a very intricate storyline. I'm also reading this see if there are some clues to help a few characters later on lol
I love this follow up to Destino. It showed how Mira came into her own and learning to become Bella Donna. I knew Kei was into some things similar to Gio. I guess Mira has a type. Eve just stole the show throughout, and I love how the author captured the essence of a two year old. The revelation about Franco was shocking, but the sister was very spoiled and shelter. Looking forward to reading book 3.
