Mustang Sally picks up where King Cobra leaves off. You must read book one for book 2 to make sense or you'll be lost so start with King Cobra. At the end of King Cobra, Mustang Sally runs off to spend time with the Crew from the Power Tools gang( Power Tools series). She feels lost and hurt after seeing Eli ( King Cobra) and Alanso with a hook up from a bar. After some time away from her guys spent with the Power Tools crew and some lessons and a pep talk from the crew she's ready to go home. That's when all the fireworks start! Whoa! If you thought book one had a really high HOT factor book 1 has nothing on book 2. Finally Eli and Alanso get their chance at showing Sally what she means to them and show them they do in a BIG way! The rest of the Hot Rod crew chimes in to help them and show her what she means to them as well. You might want to have a glass of ice water handy to cool off by the time you get to the epilogue. I like that the author is throwing in bits of pieces of the other mechanics so you get to know them more and more and the appearances by the Power Tools crew is fun too. I loved that series so i am glad she carried them over to this one as consultants to the Hot Rods. If you want hot sizzling sexy menage with hot guys and a story to go with it you can't go wrong with this new series by Jayne Rylon. She's off to a racy start with the first two books!

I freaking LOVE this book, Im a super fan of menage's with 1 woman and more men - Im a selfish bitch, the idea of sharing with another girl makes me a little pissy. So this, this was perfect! It had the right amount of story to erotica, it was well balanced, brilliantly written, it had everything I could possibly want in a book, you dont get a description of Salome (that I remember reading, so don't quote me on that, I probably just missed it)- I actually like that about the book, I dont much like to think of blondes, they do nothing for me so I can make a picture of her in my head as being anything I want her to be :D

So we already know from reading the Powertools series that you need to have a healthy suspension of believability with these stories, right? Continue to have that suspension.

So Sally comes back and Eli and Alonso are ready to show her just how much they both want here and the sexin's pretty hot, no complaints. Yet Sally wants to sample the other guys in the shop - I lost count I think it's 7 guys altogether, so along with the two who have 'claimed' her, the other 5 want her and she wants them too. Don't try to make sense of it, just enjoy the ride.

I seriously thought this one was going to melt my tablet with how freakin hot it was! WOW! This one picks up where King Cobra left off, and you really need to read that one first to get everything going on. Rylon definitely threw a twist in here, but I'm not going to tell you and spoil it! I liked how outside of the box she went with some of the scenes for this menage, so I'm curious where she can go from there with this group. :) Looking forward to the next installment, so write faster Jayne!

If you haven't read to Powertools series or King Cobra, it would be best to read those first before this book. It isn't essential, but it will definitely make the story flow better for you, and they are all good reads, so it is now chore!!!!
The Hot Rods are definitely a little harder than the Crew but that fits their stories even better, considering the number of them!!
Sally was last seen fleeing the Hot Rods after she failed to tell her two 'I-wanna-be-your-girl-but won't say anything' boys how she felt and they nailed a bar-fly in the garage. We start with her arriving at the safe-haven with the crew and after two weeks, and seeing Neil, James and Devon together, she screws up her courage to go home. After a botched surprise-party welcome, she, Eli and Al decide they are going to make this work. She is clear with them, she expects something with the rest of the Hot Rods as well, even though these two will be her main men. They push that back to later so they enjoy each other. She reveals to Tom her big secret and he agrees to help her fix it. Meanwhile, she is over the moon with her main men, but another two weeks has passed and she wants to engage the other Hot Rods. Devon gives her some pointers and it has the desired effect as she and her guys put on a show for the rest of the Hot Rods. A proposal is forthcoming but she turns them down and asks them to wait. More time goes by, two weeks or maybe a month this time, and her secret is revealed and Eli and Al do NOT take it well. But, the secret is overcome and resolved, and she ends up having all the Hot Rods, finally
These characters are deep considering the stories are not too, too long, but the final sex scene with the Hot Rods robbed it of a 5-star rating - it was just a bit too much, but not bad.
I am now anxiously awaiting Super Nova's story - hurry up!!!

As much as I liked Jayne Rylon's super smexy Powertools series, it doesn't even compare to her Hot Rods spin-off. Seriously what's not to love? Seven tattooed and pierced smexy, male mechanics and one bad ass female. Sign. Me. Up.

Mustang Sally was made of awesome. I started it and couldn't put it down until it was finished. I devoured all this hotness in one setting. *fans self* Man, Sally's one lucky bitch.

So far, Mustang Sally is my favorite book in the Hot Rods series and I still say that Sally's one lucky bitch. Want. Some. Of. That. I don't have anything to add to my review other than the narrator, Gregory Salinas, does a great job. He seems really comfortable narrating a series that I'm sure many would find taboo. He feels like the perfect fit for Jayne Rylon's polyamorous world.

Jayne Rylon is a damn genius and once again has blown me away with how hot she writes. Mustang Sally was a wonderful follow up to King Cobra and I loved every word of it.

Sally is an amazing woman who went through so much to become the person she is today. She fled a religious commune as a young girl and managed to put that behind her and fall for two amazing guys. After they break her trust she decides to give them another chance.

I loved how Eli and Alanso worked so hard to show Sally they didn’t mean to hurt her. They went above and beyond to make it up to her. The three of them worked together beautifully but Sally needed more and they were willing to give it to her.

This is one of the hottest books Jayne has ever written and it is not for the faint of heart. It is extremely sexy and yet at the same time you can feel the love between all seven of them. The way they come together is almost beyond words and it makes you want to read the next book as soon as she can get them wrote. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes who likes their books to be amazingly hot and sensual.

I liked this book because it gave the ending for the previous one and a new beginning for the Hot Rods, but I still think it would be better if the story was in one book and it was strange seeing the trio start this book apart, but I liked the hot scenes with the Powertools again, they are so hot together and that is exactly what I’ve been missing for this series.

Finally Sally got the men she was dreaming about, but they totally screwed up in the first chapters. They wanted her to be a part of their life, but it was strange how they decided to enjoy and handle their relationship first without her and she felt left behind, especially when they didn’t shared with her their reasons and fears.

But I think every one needed a little breather and some time to get their head back and their thoughts together, because after Sally returned things went full force and this series is getting hotter than ever. Sally is a wild girl and pleasured seven guys in one night. I have no idea how she managed to sit after that, but this was a better book than the first for me.

After finishing King Cobra I couldn't wait to get my hands (um ears) on this book!! I was dying to hear what happened with Sally. You won't be surprised to discover that there is lots of sex. lol But there was also emotional growing for not only Sally, Eli, and Alanso but also for the whole group. We get our first taste of the whole crew together and it is both complicated and hot. ;) I always listen (or read) really closely when there are so many people in one sex scene. I'm so mean I try to find mistakes. lmao I didn't find any in this book, but I'll be listening closely in the next book-it is only fair for me to add that I have read several of Jayne's books that include mass orgies and I haven't noticed a mistake yet. I am really enjoying this series and we even get some visits with the original crew. I love getting to visit with old characters and see how they are doing. I can't wait to read the next one and see where the Hot Rods take me.

Jayne Rylon has captured my heart with this series already. I was so mad at the end of King Cobra...I mean, how can an author as sweet as Jayne leave us hanging like that?? Thankfully she didn't leave us hanging for too long! And Mustang Sally did NOT disappoint at all. I already LOVE this crew so much and I hate that we'll be waiting a while for the next in the series...but I KNOW it'll be worth the wait.
The Hot Rod series is not for the faint of heart...and to be honest....well.....I really needed a cold shower near the end there....whew! I love Mustang Sally and those garage boys are just too good to be true. I look forward to getting to know each and every one of them in the future.
I ahve to comment on the custom photography/cover that Jayne did for this series...the photographer is KICK ASS and the images are smokin hot. I LOVE a good cover! No cheesy romance covers for this series - no sir! Only hot rods!
Pick this one up...but be sure to read King Cobra first!!

So I bought this the day it came out. The first ebook I consciously purchased.

I waited a few days before reading this.. I wanted to wait even longer, as it means I'll have to wait that much longer for the next in the series. (Actually, I am now caught up in every book of all of Jayne Rylon's series. Which is making the waiting that much harder!)

This one was... awesome. I loved it.

It takes off right where King Cobra ended, with Sally hightailing it away from her loveable screw up love interests. She drove like hell to the Crew (from the Powertools series) where she got the chance to relax and gather her thoughts. I loved this. I was so sad when the Powertools series was over, so I am beyond happy that they had an appearance.

Without spoiling the rest of the book, I have to say I loved it.
We got to see a bit more of the Hot Rods (okay, not just a bit).

I cannot wait for the next book.

The only problem I had with the book was how short it was! I want more more more!

Mustang Sally really got me cranked up and had my motor running. This is a red hot, steamy sexy book that just about scorched this happy reader's panties off. Once again, Jane Rylon has knocked my socks off with Mustang Sally, the second book in her fantastic new Hot Rods series.

I loved it ! Absolutely no one does polyamorous romance better than Jane Rylon, and this book is just another example of why she is a master at her craft.

There was so much to like about this book. Great characters and lots of naughty love scenes. Reader beware, this book is not for the faint of heart. Rylon absolutely thrilled me with some M/M , M/F/M, M/M/F and an awesome group scenes that had me ready for a cold shower ... or maybe a little something else.

Mustang Sally was an amazing read that I enjoyed immensely. I'm already eager and ready for the next book in the Hot Rods series. Bring it on !

No rating cuz i didn't actually read this one...in fact I stopped the skimming after like a third or so....

Loved the synopsis for this, and thought it would be a nice agnsty read...which I usually avoid, but for some reason, this one sounded really good...

so I skimmed the last third of the first book, so i wouldn't be lost with this one, - i wasn't, not really- then started this one only to realize the angst is very light, and of very short duration....And very little plot.
Really the book is just an excuse for a bunch of group sex scenes....So if that's what your looking for, read on!
As for me, like I said I stooped around the 1/3 mark, it just wasn't for me.

Mustang Sally has run away after catching her crushes with another woman. When she returns things are going to be different. She's no longer afraid to go after what she wants. I liked Sally. She is bold and brassy but is still all female. I liked how she said upfront she loved and wanted all her mechanics at Hot Rods and she made it happen. She took a bad past and made a future she wanted and that her 7 men wanted also. I want to see what happens in the future. There are a lot of people in this book and I did have problems figuring out who they were and how they fit in the relationship. I should have read book 1 first. This is not a standalone.

Super sexy tale !! Mustang Sally had gone to see the "crew" to get help understanding the polyamory ways. The crew shows her what it's like and she goes back to her mechanics. Eli and Alfonso are waiting with open arms. Sizzling ! Then as time passed a bit, they advanced to more bodies in the mix. So, the mechanics have bonded and Super Nova thinks that he may want to add his someone special to the group. Next story is Nova's. Deeply thought filled characters, interesting tale, wonderful writing, and hot sexiness. I enjoy catching up with the cast of the Powertools Crew. ENJOY !!!

This is the 8th book I've read by Jayne. Each one better than it's predecessors. Not only are they seriously HOT, she presents the vulnerability of each character perfectly. The sexy details are intriguing, without being repetitive. I love her imagination!

If you loved the Powertools books. Then you are going to love this series. This is the second book in the series. It has a great story line. I made me scream, cry, scream some more and it made you cheer. The sex is great in the book. I can not wait for the next book. Jayne has done it again. You have written a great story that has me wanting more and not just the Hot Rods but the Powertools guys too.

This is a series that is a spin spin-off of the PowerTools series and even though these characters are still growing on me I find myself impatient waiting for the next book to be released in the series.

It took me a little while to get into this book for some reason but a few chapters in and I was hooked. I really enjoy this series as well as the original series she spun it off from. One thing I really did enjoy was getting a glimps at the crew from the previous series. I feel when an author can shift the attention but keep the previous series alive I connect a lot better.
