Court of Honor

Rate this book
In this novel set in Germany in the last days of WWII, the protagonist, the aristocratic General von Bluckau, revives the old German institution of the Fehme, an underground terrorist group which captures, tries, and executes traitors and interlopers -- in this case collaborators and occupying allies. The blinded General soon finds Bormann and the Gestapo showing an interest in his Fehme, and things take a much different direction than he had planned.
