Stacey had never thought about being in love before. She loved her friend Nick, but that was because he was her best friend. When she sees Stefan Spencer it's love at first sight. But can she let go of the independent woman that she is and open her heart to love?
I'm a wife and mother of two teenagers. I love story telling and hope to learn more and more about my craft. Thanks to all those who have read my novel and have been kind enough to let me know. It helps to know someone is enjoying my work. I've been an avid romance reader since my teens and always wanted to write. Thanks to my husband for encouraging me and handing me my laptop every time I sat in front of the TV.
There is a sweet story underneath. I think that with an few corrections and changes this could be a better story. I would like to read any further stories this author has to watch her grow as an author.
What I liked: I enjoyed most of the characters. I even liked the bad girl.
What I didn't like: The one scene could be removed. If you read it, you will know which one. I think that some of the relationships were a little hard to believe and at times annoying.
Not sure I liked this book. Inaccuracies with the details of the main characters, soppy pathetic unrealistic characters and an attempt to pull the reader in by a failing plot. No thanks. Not a hit for me
Ok so the story was there! But the writing was so poor! One minute she is 28 then she's 26! A whole chapter on a bizarre threesome, not a main character involved, found that rather strange! A lot of inaccuracies! Wish the story had got more involved and i feel it should have finished totally differently! I wanted to know what happened but found it very annoying!
I didn't actually finish this book, but it was such a ridiculous plot line that I couldn't make myself read it. Within the first few pages, you get an idea of how the story is going to end, and because the writing was so bad, I wasn't tempted to stick around to find out if I was right. Don't waste your time with this one!
There were some grammatical/spelling errors. BUT I really enjoyed this book. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought this was a true story. And maybe it was. It is not often that a book will make me laugh out loud and shed real tears. I think it is very much worth the read!
Awful. The characters were flat and one dimensional. The tenses kept changing and the plot jumped erratically. The interactions between characters weren't believable nor was the way they spoke to each other, people aren't normally that stilted when talking. Pretty much hated it.
