Hilarious as always but is anyone else confused about the identity of the woman in her early thirties who died at the end of the book?

Haven't read one in years. Picked this up for something light to read and oh my God I was in knots laughing reading the thing. Paul Howard is an absolute legend

Keeps getting better, the books and the characters have evolved immensely. The best book so far, you either get this series or you don't but I personally can't wait for the next installment. I agree with other reviews that maybe some characters have run their course and maybe now is the time to make changes.

An absolutely terrible book. I endured every offensive page to ensure that no one could accuse me of not reading until the end. A book in love with the likes of Boris Johnson and his dim-witted supporters where all women are categorised as either 'models' or "Gorgon's"/ ugly.

A book proudly targeting "the rugby crowd", this received positive reviews from respected reviewers/ newspapers. I can't see why, outside of the upperclass rugby connection.

Puerile comedy. Having finished, I'm handing this in to the nearest charity shop so that they can get the benefit of selling it on. I wouldn't soil a place on the bookshelf with it. I pity the poor sod who buys it though he won't, at least, have paid the full price for it. 🙁

Avoid like the plaque - absolutely dismal. Don't waste your money (even in a Charity Shop).

I loved this audiobook. It does a great job of exploring themes of friendship, parenting and political corruption with a mix of humour and seriousness. The parts of the book dealing with Ross’ mum’s decline as her memory and mind go are really heartbreaking while other parts relating to Ross’ outrageous behaviour are rolling on the floor laughing, as you would expect.
In many ways Ross’ character seems to have changed by the end of the book which really makes me want to listen to the next book and find out what happens next.

Hilarious as always. I keep waiting for these books to lose there appeal but it's just not happening. Not everyone's cup of tea, but for anyone who has enjoyed the previous works in the series, it is a must read. Particularly loved the ambiguity of the ending. I'm 99.9% sure of who it was, but there's that little nagging feeling of what if it's a curve ball. Looking forward to the next installment.

The books just keep getting better, and Ross seems to finally be developing into a real person. Still a real piece of crap but trying to get better.

Finally had time on holiday to read a book from start to finish. A few more to go on audible and in print and my reading challenge will be back on track crossed 🤞

Very hit and miss for me this one . Not having read any of the previous books in the series (20 + I believe ). It didn't really make easy reading, on top of this the author wrote dialogue in Dublin slang, again ,not for me.
There were good lines and some very funny parts but over all I would suggest it didn't really work as a stand alone book.

Such a great book that it has made me want to go back and re read the entire series from the beginning. Things get dark, but are still hilarious.

I've read every Ross book and this one has got to be the best yet - for about 50 pages in a row I couldn't stop laughing. 10/10!

Absolutely hilarious as always. Some of the best gags in the series. Every book is as enjoyable as the previous one. Long may Ross continue

This was a simpler plot then we've seen in recent books with the long-term storylines taking more of a back seat. I enjoyed it, LOLd many a time.
