[Menage Amour Erotic Alternative Paranormal Menage a Trois Romance, M/M/M, vampires, shape-shifters, sex in partially shifted form, public exhibition, spanking, sex toys, HEA] Cam Cowell lives a secluded life, hiding away in his room, playing with his toys to ease his frustration, and running the vampires’ servers. Except to eat and let his cheetah run, he never ventures out. It’s a lonely existence but better than the whispers and stares he can feel, even if he can’t see them, reminding him that he’s the reject of the Cowell family. He’s a blind predator that faints at the scent of blood… Doesn’t that say it all? After one brief kiss that made him run, he hasn’t so much as bumped into Hayden. The vampire’s waited too long to claim him, though, and he won’t delay anymore. He’s almost manic with need for Cam. When Denver, their other mate, shows up, will things get better, or will Cam never have anything go right in his life, always to be the one people pity? ** A Siren Erotic Romance
I've never not finish a book and I couldn't stomach this one. I have most of Joyee Flynn books and I have to say I was put off by this book so much. IMO, it is on a borderline of physical and mentally abuse on one mate to another mate. Never mind that one mate is blind! I feel like the author just try to throw as many sex scenes together to make readers happy and somewhere, the story line got lost and became laughable. I feel so bad because I enjoy the author works and her other books.
OMG, I thought this series was getting better then this one. I can't even finish it, I was looking forward to Cam's story before, now I just can't stand him. He's the kind of character you want to just smack him over the head a few many times. This character has many problems, with self steem, self worth, self-respect, you name it. The problem (for me) is that the author (once again) goes WAY over board with these problems. And the sex scenes and there are Many and most are in public any time any place no matter who is there. Even at the breakfast table with Cam's family around. (can it get more trashier? ya it can) The dialogue is like a bad 70's porn.(for those too young to know what I mean, count yourself lucky) And in all the other M/M/M ones the "three" were all mates to one another. This one Hayden and Denver haven't even kissed, all they do is take turns with Cam. It's like they aren't mates, they have No chemistry between them. Maybe they get together at the end, cause I didn't finish the last 10 pages or so. Couldn't handle any more of Cam.
Warning: 1st person writing style in a menage romance.
With the exception of the explicit sex scenes the writing style is at a junior high level. I find it amazing an adult wrote this with at least one adult editing.
Don't know what has been happening with Joyee, but it's only gone downhill since she switched to first person.
As is usual for this series, the combination of mates draws for a range of paranormals, increasing the initial misunderstandings and issues, but also making the "figuring it out" and ultimate reward stages a lot of fun. There is no deep conflict here, but some of the shenanigans these guys get up to are quite amusing and somewhat unusual. It all starts with one of them being blind (but only in human form), the second mate holding back until he goes almost crazy, and the third walking in worrying about the "inconvenience" of this mating for his career. The tone is light and humorous, with the unique world view of the blind cheetah shifter coloring the entire story.
Camden, or Cam for short, is somewhat of a recluse, since he misses a lot being blind. He has also damaged his sensory nerves (in an attempt to stop being nauseated by blood), so his perceptions of the world are somewhat reduced. The first mate he finds is a vampire, who can no longer hold back his mating drive, and proceeds to ravish Cam – in public and without any consideration of Cam's needs. I found that very hard to deal with and it took me a while (longer than it took Cam) to forgive him. The third partner is a doctor specializing in shifter physiology – a skill that comes in very handy indeed.
One cyber attack and several steps to identifying the enemies who have been trying to kill them later, the three new mates are beginning to figure out the triad's dynamics. Much of which happens in bed, well, once they stop doing it in public every time. If you like threesomes with unusual paranormals and interesting dynamics, if you’re interested to see how a blind shifter deals with life, and if you enjoy lots and lots of man-on-man-on-man action, you will probably enjoy this light, entertaining read.
2.5 to 3 stars... Mixed feelings about this book. BOTH mates start out 'jerky' to me. Hayen, waiting too long and being crazy possessive and practically forcing himself onto Cam. Then Denver being not just a jerk but a major ass about a blind mate affecting his work. But once you give them a chance to explain and apologize it's.... workable. Then you've got Cam.. blind and screwed up sense of smell (which he made worse) who's got a lot of self esteem issues as well. I can't help but compare him to Shem who is also blind who didn't have nearly that many issues. Even thou the smell being off is extra it seriously drags the storyline for me.. Not the worst book I've ever read...
I have so many issues with this book it isn't even funny. I'm not much into characters who don't know their self worth like Cam. They annoy the living hell out of me. Not that the others were better. They were complete idiots to each other then say they're sorry and by some miracle everything is fine. Such a cliché. Such a bad cliché. These romances are getting trashier one after the other.

I was so disappointed. I forced myself to finish, but skipped parts to get through it. Joyee is one of my favorites, but it hurt to read this, esp. when I 'd been looking forward to Cam 's story.
Muy interesante la trama aunque de nuevobse queda poco desarrollada. En los menagés no me agrada cuando dos se centran solo en uno, pero conseguimos verlos unirse así que no me ha molestado tanto.
Loved the story. Its a shame that the series has been forgotten about and there will be no more releases for this series. I guess the series grew boring for the writer and started a new series of books.
