The Toy Boy

La diferencia de edad para mí siempre es un pequeño problema, en este caso son 10 años que ella lo supera a él... sé que es una tontería pero prefiero que fuese al revés...
que tengo que reconocer que me imaginé que no se llevaban tanto tiempo porque me cuesta mucho.
Aún así ese final fue demasiado rápido y simple, pero teniendo en cuenta que es una historia corta no se puede pedir mucho más.

No tenía planeado abandonar la lectura de esta novela corta, pero es que no me apetece nada invertir mi tiempo leyendo la historia de esta pareja.
Lo que he visto, es solo una novela erotica. Los protagonistas solo follan. Punto. No hay nada mas entre los dos. Ni una curiosidad mutua. Ni un amor que va creciendo con el tiempo. Nada. Solo los personas que tienen las hormonas locas y que quieren jugar a quemarse.
La protagonista, no es nada del otro mundo. Y Declan tampoco. Ninguno de los dos me ha dejado sensacion alguna. No siento nada por ellos, porque no se nos cuenta nada de ellos. Solo que viven en Sudafrica, que se llevan diez años de diferencia, y que son vecinitos y ya.
Esta podria ser una buena novela para este verano, pero es muy simple, sosa, y solo tiene un hilo argumental, sexo. En serio, no hay ninguna conversación entre los protagonistas que no sea una demanda sexual. Y ya estoy harta de cliches, de que el sexo le haga perder la cordura a una mujer y que un hombre solo sea digno si es multimillonario. Pues no, gracias.
No se si algun dia probaré con alguna novela mas de esta escritora, pero de momento, mi respuesta es no.

La historia de Cait y Declan resulta bastante simple y repleta de tópicos, pero de todas formas logra entretener y hacer pasar un buen rato.
Cait me sacó un poco de quicio por estar constantemente poniendo como escusa la edad para no hacer caso a Declan cuando se veía a las leguas que lo deseaba demasiado.
La personalidad de Declan me gustó bastante más, él es un luchador que sabe lo que quiere y hace lo imposible por conseguirlo. Buena historia.

"Hot & Steamy". Loved Loved Loved this story.... wish it went on a little longer.... Loved every inch of the main characters love affair and found myself wanting much much more... the sex was steamy hot and written perfectly... Recommend it definitely...

I liked the premise of the older woman and younger man, and I understand the inner struggle Cait went through because she was so attractive to a younger man, but she was a bit too spineless for me. I don't understand the attraction Declan had for her other than a physical one.
I would have enjoyed the story much more if Cait had some backbone, if the character had some strength, and wasn't so easily manipulated to drop her panties at a mere command.
