Indiana Lane is in a pickle. She must find a man, fall in love and get married...all within the space of thirty days. How in the world can she pull this off? And then she runs into Stone Hudson - or, more accurately, he runs into her - and that's when the adventure begins.
Stone Hudson has met his match. He is used to women fawning over him and then he meets Indie, a woman who tells it like it is. And worse, she dares to tease him wherever and whenever she desires. Stone is intrigued, to say the least, but then his heart is snagged on a wire from which there is no escape.
Will the wedding bells ring for Indie, and will they ring in time? Thirty days is not a lot of time...
I'm a lover of all things romance - novels, poetry, flowers and chocolate (Snickers and chocolate covered peanuts are my favorite). I also love visiting romantic destinations - the sunny beaches of the Caribbean and romantic European cities including London and Paris. My idea of heaven - a comfy lawn chair on the beach in the shade of a palm tree, with a sizzling romance novel and a pina colada. Romance rocks - every time!
I enjoyed this story & the refreshing setting & story within a story. But I feel that the more I read the flatter the life of this tale got. The love story of Stone (Gladstone) & Indiana.
The names of the main characters were delightful & suited the types of people they are & the lives they lead. I also enjoyed the humour that was submitted throughout the story. The characters had depth & for about the first half of their tale was moving quite nicely, but then seemed to fall flat & lose its pulse for a bit, to then finish too fast.
I feel that the passion was lacking in parts & these characters deserved more than they got. The love scenes were lacking, should have been more than just hot kisses, this is adult romance not YA. Not saying it needed erotica, but for romance it didn't have the feel. Especially for the hot & sexy setting of Africa.
An easy read & nice way to wind down after work, with just enough plot to make it interesting. Only wish is that the ending wasn't so rushed. We romance readers, quite like to hear details of the actual weddings & maybe the romance of the overall wedding night. Like I said not the nitty gritty erotica, read enough of those, but we are all adults here & they were supposed to be bad boy billionaires.
It's a shame this story started with so much promise, but just wasn't as good as some of the earlier stories, written by Judy.
I wasn't as happy with this book as I was with the others. For some reason this book just didn't make it for me; not sure if it was the time line that Indie had to find someone & marry them or just the fact that someone like Stone who's supposed to be so smart fell so fast. I'm just not sure. Their story was cute the way she tried to flirt with him when she wasn't the flirting type of girl. Her having to look at small notes that her friend made for her for their first date which was actually a job interview was funny. How they met was also funny, him rear ending her on a traffic filled highway while he's playing with the radio was cute too. But it still didn't make me love this book like I did the others.
I LOVED Judy's other books SO MUCH and expected to be blown away here too. This book started out really strong but after a while (in the middle) It started to get weak. I liked the characters and yes 30 days to marry BUT the romance & proposal wasn't what i expected and was too fast. Wish the ending wasn't so rushed, but i did enjoy it! ^_^
But I wouldn't recommend it for you to read if you don't like rushed stories, something is definitely up with the pacing of Judy's stories. I always feel like there should be more, or this would be better if this was a full novel.
But nevertheless, this is an improvement comprared to her other books, this one is decent enough to read.
This is a good erotic book with short stories. Needs more essence, but is a nice summer read. Could help if there is a lot more chemistry between the characters.
Indiana gets a call from her uncle Daniel's lawyer stating that she has to get married by her 30th birthday to inherit $14million. The only problem is that her birthday is only 30 days away.
How is Indie going to meet, fall in love and marry all in 30 days?
This 8th book's story line was okay. Indiana & Stone's characters were okay. I liked what Indiana & Stone did for the kids. I liked the ending. I wish this story had more romance.
