I ordered this by mistake, being in a hurry (I actually wanted to order Fred Brooks' "The mythical man-month").
It's a paper on writing a decision support system in APL. It answered a few questions for me, like "what was the world before the electronic spreadsheet". Some things are painfully the same, and the explanations about the issues with APL and the interpreter were like the ones I expect to see now about Perl and Ruby.
