Gorgeous presentation, empty of content. The photography is beautiful, but there are virtually no recipes, and those that are included are interesting, but limited. The book is set up so that you can make an entire meal plus drinks to serve. But who has time for that? If you want to go all out on the I MADE EVERYTHING train, I guess this book would work for you.
ersonally, I'll stick with one great dish + simple sides and a bottle of wine.

A very pretty to look at book, lots of pictures, not a lot of food I could make reasonably. Or affordably, however this would make a pretty coffee table book and if you live in an area where you can get figs, fresh oysters and the like affordably ... or even at all this is a good one for ya
