Rubbish. Not good for beginners. A bunch of random squiggles and abracadabra a perfect drawing with tone. I have a few of the Draw 50 books, not the originals but later published and this one is the worst. It’s a poor copy of the original. Whoever’s job it was to copy over the original did a very poor job because none of the trace lines are visible like in the other books. Save yourself the money, look online for free tutorials.
You have a large selection of characters, but they're given over usually six steps. The instructions in the beginning tell you to attempt each step freehand.
That's wrong. You're supposed to put a paper over the step, and trace it. Then, move to the next step, and line up. I HATE this method almost as much as the grid squares method.
