Scholarly biography of the prophet Muhammad previously published as The Rivers of Paradise. It includes historical documents, quotes from the Qur'an, and stories told of the prophet. It details his life, what Arabian beliefs were before Muhammad and how Islam changed the world.
Found the book extremely informative. It is not an easy read, written by a scholar, a BYU professor of Islamic studies and details Arabian beliefs historically. Is a thorough study of first hand information on the life of Muhammad and Islam. Also includes dreams and experiences that are part of the Muslim belief. The author believes that Muhammad is a prophet of God and gives evidence in what Muhammad taught and what he did. The book is not as exciting to read as a novel but all the interesting and vital information is in the 180 page book.
