Each one of this series about Claremont, AL seems to be even better and more engaging than the one before. I love a series like this, where the characters from prior books keep popping up in each new book. In this book, John Cutter was left to work the ranch and raise his younger brother while his other brother, Landon, was in the military. Now Landon is home and John is attending college - and they are both trying to figure out how to make the ranch more profitable. John met Dana through one of his college websites. She is well-known & wealthy AND she wants to help John's business get off the ground. Neither of them is ready for what happens when Dana comes to Claremont for a month-long visit!
I have to admit a Dude Ranch in AL seems far fetched to me. I live in a neighboring state and have spent a great deal of time in AL. Even after reading this wonderful story, I still have my doubts but honestly it doesn't matter. The story was great! Just like all the books I have read in this series. I love that Dana, though wealthy and privileged, doesn't flaunt that lifestyle no consider herself above others. She embraces down home life and pitches in with gusto. She and John do their best to not fall in love, but their best isn't strong enough!

What was it about Dana that attracted John ? will John risk it all to believe in love? Does Dana feel at home on the ranch? do you enjoy reading Love Inspired books? Heart of a Rancher (Love Inspired) by Renee Andrews is a wonderful well written 5 stars book. I highly recommend Heart of a Rancher by Renee Andrews. I am looking forward to reading more books by Renee Andrews.
John Cutter has been through a lot already. He's watched both his parents die, raised his brother, helped his other brother get settled after his time in the military, get his brother married and settle...now it's his turn to do what he wants. His dream is to start a dude ranch, and rich businesswoman, Dana Brooks, is just the person to help him. But he's already had one city girlfriend and doesn't plan on going down that road again...
This is just a sweet story. It's a fast read, but is a nice, refreshing story about the poor cowboy and the rich businesswoman getting together to realize what's really important. They both find a spiritual awareness along the way, and maybe they'll be able to find each other.
Renee Andrews does such a wonderful job with her characters and the town of Claremont. I've enjoyed every one of her stories thus far and can't wait to read the next installment! I am very happy with the way this story ends and cannot wait to get Ryan's story (that's Dana's brother).
I've stopped reading love-inspired stories for a while because I read them so much that I wore the love stories genre out. I picked back up on it with "Heart of a Rancher." I was not disappointed...enjoyed every page I read.
Excellent story of a rancher who is struggling to keep the family property together and wants to turn it into a dude ranch, however he can't get a loan. When heiress, Dana Brooks, decides to invest in his venture, she didn't realize that she would fall in love.
