Some lovely patterns in this book, and also nice as a coffee table book just to flick through and look at the photographs!

Another beautiful book of gorgeous multi-colored yarn patterns. There must be someone in the library buying department that is really INTO fair isle and stranded knitting right now. These are wonderful, but not for m right now, maybe never. Too much, too slow, too complicated.

Gave the book a once-over before beginning any of the projects. All the patterns have plenty of pictures, detailed instructions, and both written and pictorial versions. My knitting chops are a bit dusty, but not one to do anything by halves I'm jumping back in with this book.

Very dated looking patterns. Copyright 2012, but looks like it's from the 90's. I'm an avid Fair Isle and cable knitter, but I just can't get behind these. The construction could be so much better if they were streamlined. Where was the tech editor?

Lovely, lovely patterns. The Braemar Scarf looks wonderful in 2 colour or 5! Not necessarily for beginners - Sky poncho instructions could be a bit clearer.

It was acceptable. This and other Martin Storey knit books have intrigued me by their titles for a while now, so I picked up a few at the library, but found none of them to be spectacular.
