This was my first Kindle read, it is an enjoyable easy holiday read, good action thriller with some innovative thinking behind the story. But it did start to become a little predictable for me who has read a lot in this genre.
I have never read any books by this author, but let me say I look forward to reading more of them in the near future. The book had a great story line and characters. At some points it was difficult to follow. There were so many characters and even though they all held a prominent role in the story, it diverted at times, in my opinion, from the main character and the story. Overall though I enjoyed it. He has a great imagination, great insight into the world of terror, how the whole "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" when it comes to black ops, big business manipulation, terrorism, and big Government. The authors insight into the Middle East in my non-expert opinion appeared to be very accurate from all my studies of the Middle East, and extremely insightful. For those who enjoys this genre I would highly recommend 'Game Changer'.
This is a great, fast paced thriller with an intriguing slant on the middle East and how a hero should be characterised. I loved every page of it and had to keep reading until I got to the very satifying resolution. Will definitely be looking for more by this author, and would highly recommend this to anyone who likes a thriller combing plenty of action with a bit of politics and some medicine thrown in for good measure.
Being compared to Lee Child is high praise but I really liked Game Changer. It addresses the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from a personal level but is still able to be a well-written thriller. Strongly recommended.
