This was really helpful for studying and test anxiety. I found many of the topics and types of questions that were on the test were in this book.

The best part is I checked the book out from the library.

Even though I feel the book is outdated since I have taken some civil tests in the past month or two, there are still some similarities and general stuff I can refresh myself from. I am bypassing the exercises and only looking over a few problems tonight; but maybe I should actually do them and see how well or not well I do. On most of the civil tests I have taken in the past, I have gotten 85% and passing scores, but it would be better to refresh and get at least 90 or higher with some practice.

Yet I am not sure if I will be taking any current exams while the information is fresh in my mind. I can only think of maybe looking at the Program Technician tests for the state and already heard from previous test takers that it was a bit difficult because of all the math equations. Although I was an A/B student in Math even in Calculus and such, I have not taken these courses since late 90s and early 2000. So we are talking like 15 years ago and cannot always remember the basics in both English and Math equations that's why I plan to at least glance at it. I may just take a few problems, time it (since these tests are timed), and see how many I get right and what review the ones I got wrong in some sections.

My dad tells me to always refresh and relearn; also have Microsoft Office suite on audio/computer to review and watch to refresh myself and learn as well.

Also they types of civil service positions and the type of test you can expect to encounter. This book is a great reference for any taking the test or who might just want to review certain subjects such as English or Math.
