Lafayette - a general in the Continental Army at age 20, friend of George Washington was just the beginning of his amazing life. This book does a great job taking the reader thru the next 50 years of his life. General Lafayette (he stopped using his Marquis title) was a key figure in the years of France's growth to a republic.
