This is almost like reading a brief history of the search for the Loch Ness Monster. It features many if the major players like Dinsdale and Mackel and has a whole bunch of accounts of alleged sightings. Even though the idea that a giant monster is roaming Loch Ness is incredibly unlikely it's a classic of the cryptozoology world and always a fun topic.

It is an ok resource if you need to compile most of the names of those who reported seeing the Loch Ness Monster and the beginnings of the investigation bureau. Other than that, how many times can you write the same description and sound incredulous doing it?

this book is of course about the loch ness monster and how many people took steps to reveal the truth about the loch. See the many excitements and failures that many people had to undergo to try to solve the century old mystery.my favorite part was where it talks about making a model of the monster and ending up as a babbling idiot. I recommend this book for anyone who enjoys the loch ness monster and other the unexplained.

This book covers the sighting and history of the Loch Ness Monster. It also discusses that the monster might be real! I reread this book because I enjoy stories about myths and legends. I would recommend this book to anyone who also enjoys fantasy and mythology. According to the book, if one man looked at the loch one hour a day everyday, he would observe the monster once in a year. Cool!

Though I am fully aware that this is not a 5-star book, and probably more like 3-1/2 or 4 stars, this was my favorite book as a kid. I read it over and over and over again. The Loch Ness Monster was an enormous source of fascination for me and some of that still holds true. When I was finally able to get my hands on it after close to 40 years a couple summers ago, I was overjoyed; still am.
