I read this book in three days because it was so good and enticing. It brought me straight back in time to when I was in Paris in the 1960s. Liberties were obviously taken with the observational faculties of the police - none of them are ever as good as they are in books!!!. However having let that go the rest was brilliantly paced. So much so that I stayed up until 3 in the morning to find out how it ended. Wonderfully in my opinion.!

I read A Matter of Honour, and I would never recommend it to anyone. I read the whole thing and could care less about the lead character or what happened to him. This was a very basic, unimaginative story of a man happening into an adventure filled with ridiculous action. I found no standout characters. I found no surprising plot twists. I was completely apathetic. The only good thing about the novel is that it finally ended.

First among the Equals is a nice political story about four people. It get never bored in any of the 450 pages even though its a political drama.Turning page by page you would see the four contsting election after elections and the results of those will always be unexpected,The ending with a twist!Do not fall for the spoilers anywhere on the web.
